I will try all of this thank you so much for your help.

Retroarch is really confusing to me I tried scanning where I have my ROM set at shown in the picture.but as you can see in the second picture they don't actually upload the retroarch I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here.

So when I go into edit game The source location is blank but when I drop that window down it's not any files that are on my computer I don't know what those are.

Look I'm new to this I've watched all the videos. I downloaded launch box, installed retroarch , downloaded the ROMs and none of them will open. The pictures there, the art work, graphics whatever you want to call it but when I click on it it looks like it's going to load and then nothing happens. I want to get big box, but none of this is working and don't want to pay for it until I can figure all this out. I've tried opening it with Mame and retroarch and none of these games will open what am I doing wrong? I realize that I'm probably the thousandth person to ask this question but any help would be appreciated.
