Thanks for the tip! I tested with a regular monitor it worked fine at 60hz so I just reduced the resolution on the TV and now that part is working great. Appreciate the fast and good advice ?

ah that is likely the issue. Its an intel HD 4600 and the TV is a 50uk6090PAU

So I read somewhere that the refresh rate might be the issue but I have been unable to find a driver for windows 10 that would allow me to change the refresh rate higher than 30hz. I have looked all over for one but coming up empty and was hoping someone here had a workaround or better idea. thanks!
