Unbelievable... I just got it working!! I manually unzipped the files but this time deleted the original zip files instead of leaving them in the folder ( I can't see how this affected it ) but it works. Thanks for the replies peoples!!!!

^^^ I did... that's why I thought when they aren't being unzipped when checked that it's causing the problem. That's when I unzipped them myself and I now have zipped and manually unzipped files sitting in my games directory.

I'm pulling what's left out of my hair over this! When trying to play a SNES game through launchbox I get a brief checksum error and then an eternal black screen but if I open the snes9x application outside of launchbox File>Open>Game it works perfectly. I can't see where I'm going wrong. My SNES games are in zipped format and I've tried manually unzipping the zipped files.. I thought launchbox was supposed to unzip them when importing as roms but that didn't work either. The only thing I manually did was add - fullscreen to the command line so I haven't tinkered with anything that I can see. I don't want to give up on the snes as it's for an arcade cabinet I'm building from scratch and really would like this to be launched through launchbox / bigbox.
