right figured out my issue, i was an idiot and pointing the rom path to the BAT file, realised i could run it as an additional app to run before the emulator in the rom settings and now it works great

hmmm looking at the reshade manager i dont quite see how to use it. i have reshade installed and working correctly already for several emulators. ive tried creating an AHK to switch out the bezels and then launch the program and as before they work great outside of launch box but not when launching from launchbox. tried compiling as exe and adding a sleep command for 5 seconds so the bezel should get switched then the emulator runs 5 seconds later but the bezels never change yet works perfect outside of launchbox. i must be missing something

never heard of the manager but will take a look at it. Will also take a look at AHK too as seen it mentioned alot but never used it before. Thank you

Hey guys, im using reshade to change out bezels on emulators that dont support them, ive created batch files for each game and if i run them outside of launch box it loads the game and switches the bezel. In launch box ive pointed the rom path to the batch file but when doing this it loads the game but doesnt swap out the bezel. is there a way to change this?

ive tried it on my rp2 but you have to use mouse mode to get to the options menu at the top left but can press X to get to the emulator settings and theme settings so not sure why theres not a button for general options. its also VERY slow on 8.1 compared to Dig. ive kept it installed for now too see how it goes with updates as launch box is now what i use on my pc, tablet and nvidia shield so hopefully with updates it will work better on RP2.

been looking around google but cant find an answer so hopefully somebody here can help. downloaded and installed the bezel project and i love it! however im having a few issues. After installing the bezels for retro arch half of the systems dont auto install the bezels i have to manaually go in and add each game from the retro arch quick menu then save game override for each game. I have made sure im using the correct core that the bezel project "prefers" but still no good. is there something im missing? any help is great as its driving me mad lol

so ive spent 2 days scraping all my media for my roms. When in bigbox using a theme that includes video snap shots it just displays a screen shot or pause video (best way to describe it) where there video should be. ive made sure to scrape videos when scraping and i have Vlc selected in the options, if i select windows media player than the screenshot/paused video doesnt show at all. any ideas?

thank you will try that now, is there a way to just scrape a certain system so i can do them 1 by 1? as the wizard just does the every rom/platform i have installed. sorry to be a pain

hey guys im new to launchbox but have been watching a bunch of tutorials over the last few days. The issue im having is not knowing what to scrape to use in bigbox. i have 4000 roms but its trying to download 89000 files! i left my pc on over night to scrape everything and in the 7 hours it only managed to scrape 2000 ish files. this seems like its going to take days and days. What files should i be scraping for use in Bigbox and is there anyway to speed up the downloads? im on 500mb connection in the UK so the speed shouldnt really be an issue
