I am trying to remain calm, but its all failed again. No games will load from NES, SNES, MAME nothing now works. I have done nothing other than plug a controllor in and its all gone tits up again. Is there a way to make this more stable?

OK so in the end I just did a clean windows install and started again and nes games load fine now Great product.

ON the upside I got the mame games going yeah.

OK trying to work through that but the preference seems to be universal in the emulator section. I have told it to extract zipds. When I try and play a game every single one just says 7-zip returned an error. But gives me no details. I am unzipping the nes files but I can only imagine unzipping the mame ones will be carnage?

Thanks for your patience. I have retroarch as the one NES should use. In the retorarch emulator settings NES is listed with mesen as the core. The core is installed in retroarch, The system name is nintendo entertainment system, the name in the emulator settings is nintendo entertainment system. Plaing an NES game does nothing, playing a SNES game works fine. I'll apply the key I have purchased see if that does anything,

Ah nuts mame games dont load either. None of this stuff is ever easy is it lol.

OK cool. Having a good time with SNES games I hit run and they run. However when I hit run on a NES game nothing happens? Its set up to use retroarch but does nothing,

OK that sounds reasonable I will purchase a key. Presumably launchbax will be the app in the background so will come to the fore ground once retroarch quits.

Please dont burn me I am new to all this and my searches on google are not turning up much. I am in the process of importing and LB looks amazing. I currently use retroarch and have never had any luck getting thumbs to load etc so this seems perfect. I have seen a tutorial on associating launch box and retroarch. I want to have a total console experience, no keyboard and mouse, windows is set to auto login and I have controllers attached. Once I am done with a game how do I come out of retroarch and back into LB without a keyboard and mouse? Thanks!
