  1. Ah ok there they are, not playlist but platform category. Thanks as I was selecting the wrong view in BigBox. Is there a way to make Favorites show up in Platform Category view as well?
  2. Any feedback on this? Why wont the auto generated MAME playlist show up in Big Box?
  3. I got it working finally. Had to find a dated direct x package.
  4. D3D issues? I have all the packages installed that are required though including direct x 9. GFX card is GTX 1060
  5. Guys I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I have a full mame .241 romset and imported it. I can get it working with the latest retroarch mame core but I want to use the stand alone (non UI) verison of mame for highscore support and other additional features.. The problem is when I go to run it it just flashes a window very quick and closes immediately. I know this isn't a launchbox issue as I even downloaded mame .241 and tried it with the same results as the one LB auto downloaded during rom import process. Any ideas what is going on here?
  6. The playlist shows up fine in LB, but not in Big Box. I assume you have to change the view to playlist in BigBox which I did and only see two play-list both of which were manually created by me. The ones that were auto generated via the Mame full romset import don't show up there.
  7. Ok i found it "Show additional Apps/Versions" needed to be checked.
  8. I must be doing something wrong. I went into controller and used button 3 for "Show game details" that just takes me to the main game view page where i can select "play", "rating", "favorite" etc...
  9. I'm assuming this is a feature and I just can't find it. In launchbox i have a single game and under "addition applications" i have both the 2 player and 4 player version. Take Simpsons for example. I have the 2player version set as default but both will launch fine. How can I select which version to launch in big box via controller? Sometimes I have 4 people over and we like to play but going into Launchbox to flip the 4player version to default to then only have to go back to bigbox and launch it is a pain. There has to b a way to bring up an option at the game prior to launching to select the version I want?
  10. Hello, Im wanting to get a few playlist added and have a couple questions. I auto generated a playlist for Mame (Screen shot) but have all these sub categories. Is that a easy way to merge them into one parent category? For instance "driving" i dont need or want "Driving/1st person, Driving/3rd person" and so on. Same for fighter amongst others. For sports that makes sense but these sub categories for certain genre's is a bit much and making my menu much bigger than it needs to be. Also is there a way to do auto playlist like this that span across all systems/platforms? Seems the only option is to do this at a platform level. I'd like to get all arcade games into the playlist "Basketball" for instance. This would l include MAME, Model 2/3 and Teknoparrot. Also i assumed these playlist/categories would show up in Big Box main wheel menu but they don't. All I'm trying to do is create some playlist for specific generes that show up in big box. (Sports, driving, beat em up/shoot em up, and fighting. What's the best way to go about this? Thanks!
  11. So i got this sorted out. I"m not sure why Launchbox sometimes points to the zip and other times points to the chd at a per rom basis. I pointed toward the zip and it's now working. Looking at all my chd games LB seems to alternative between using zip or chd and not sure why. I import by folder.
  12. I removed the roms and readded them. It now found both the zip and associated chd files when going through the import wizard. The launching file shows .chd that its pointing to. Now there is a new error "Error:Unknown , 0, ?" , but with blitz2k i get the same original error noted above even though its also referencing the .chd location.
