  1. My full sized arcade cabinet, this Cab started it's life as a 1987 Konami Dark Dungeon Arcade cabinet, at some point somebody did a Jamma/control panel conversion to a 2P Sega Spider Man leaving the original side art and adding the Sega graphics to the upper sides and Spider-Man Marquee (which I still have planning to build a lightbox for it later along with my X-Men Marquee) then somebody got it and gutted it turning it into a Hyperspin MAME with some older PC parts they had lying around (Dual CPU AMD duron of some sort) It changed hands a couple times, and eventually was left for a few years unused, it was about to be thrown out and I managed to save it. When I got it the PC hardware was toast and the monitor was in really really bad shape and was unable to salvage. so I removed all of the existing components and set it up with a Ryzen 5600X with an RTX 3050 used my 3d printer to print a proper motherboard tray and bracket for the PSU as well as some cup holders and holsters when I added a pair of light guns, when I got it the Marquee was non functional nor the coin doors so I replaced the lighting in both with some LEDs and wired the coin impulse doors up to be functional, although there are buttons for adding coins for those that want the tactile experience of feeding quarters the coin slots are there and functional and a try mounted on the control panel is kept full of quarters. I replaced the original Happ style buttons with some LED Sanwa style ones but wanted to keep the Happ competition sticks that were on the machine originally so manually wired them to a Sanwa style connector. I also realized I had a Old Neo-Geo Marquee and had the idea of using the launcbox marquee function to display artwork in the MVS cartridge window in the marquee, keeping with the idea of using vintage hardware/components on the outside but having dynamic artwork on the marquee.
  2. Hi, I've been using Big Box shelled on my Home Arcade machine (A Konami Dark Adventure Cabinet, that was converted to a 2P Sega Spider-Man before the board died and the person who owned it before me gutted it and converted it to Hyperspin emulation cab) and I've been loving launch box, I've been setting up all my emulators and ROMS from scratch and love the tools available for finding artwork and DB information for games. I also have a Vpin cabinet and one of the things i love about Pinup Popper on my vpin is the -network command line flag, I can have a shortcut set up on my desktop PC and remotely change settings and artwork edit meta data and change any of the settings without needing to do it from the machine itself. when trying to do a bunch of stuff at once this is much more convenient and I'd love to have something similar for launchBox/big box. ( I know I can set up a remote client which is fine but something about not having to set up a remote control session to go in and change settings would be nice.
  3. I was having that error and a weird counterintuitive thing that stopped it for me was, enable the confirmation on exit option in teknoparrot BigBox is still able to exit without issue but there is no error.
