I'm wondering if anyone may have some insight for me with an issue I'm having when updating versions. I have Launchbox installed on an external hard drive. I have all of my associated files/games there as well. I decided to plug the hard drive into a second laptop that I take on trips and such. I had to install the Net 9 file on that machine and after that everything worked fine. I later tried to play the games on the original Laptop and Launchbox would not launch. After trying a bunch of things I decided to reinstall the Launchbox software Version 13.19. When installing I got multiple error messages about the directory being corrupt and several dll files would not install. The option to "Try Again" had the same results. So I simply skipped these files. I wish I had thought to do a screen shot but I did not. After skipping these dll files Launchbox installed and seems to work just fine. So, I figured okay no worries. Today I updated to Version 13.20 and the same thing happened with the dll files. Again, I skipped them all, and the software seems to be working just fine.
So the question is... Is there a way to fix these corrupt files? Does it matter? Or should I just skip them each time up update to the latest version. I guess my worry is that somewhere along the line, there is going to be an issue resulting from these files being skipped. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
