Hey!! Thanks for the reply @Rlad but none of those worked 😪 The interesting thing however, was that turning the "problematic controller" on...stopped the boxes from turning, but also disabled the use of my Player 1 joy. Does this mean that my P1 joystick is the problem here?!

In BigBox I have set the 3D boxes for my artwork/game display. At the moment they are constantly rotating (North/South in rotation). I have disable Player 2 joy as I read that seems to be the common problem but it didn't fix the issue. What else might be the problem or can I just change the way my games are displayed so it goes away lol

ok...apologies to everyone...I chatGPT on what to do and have looked to hopefully made some progress. It seems some games are now working and possibly just a few tweaks here and there. I'll post up addition help as required.

Hoping I get the help I need as I miss my arcade. Its been way to long since I got to play Wonderboy!! I have just downloaded romset 0.288(merged) along with the mame version 0.288 I am unsure about moving forward from here to make sure launchbox uses these newer versions. Previous was 0.277 Any help in getting my arcade back up and running would be awesome please guys. EDIT: currently running Launchbox version 13.27 PS: I know I've missed some info, apoligies....be gentle lol

Sorry for my late reply...I didn't get a notification on this for some reason? I'll try and work through this somehow. Seems an annoing bug to have to deal with.....again.....lol The problem is that the MAME version I'm using has been updated when LB/BB were installed so not necessarily going to match. Will see if I can find my backup discs, might shed some light there. Otherwise where am I with this? As there's quite a few roms I need to fix

Yep! Brilliant....however, what if they show no additional apps in LB but clearly in mame it has multiple versions. Have tried the above with Wonder Boy and shows nothing addition. Is this a possible solution at all..... once following your above suggestion, under the main page....Metadata, the right hand side shows Region: North America and Version" (set 1....).....can these be manually changed to a different version found in mame

Me again....sorry..... How do I get LB/BB to choose the right rom to play out of multiple roms. For example. Double Dragon currently does not work in BB. But when I go into mame and choose Japan Set 1 it works. US set does not along with a couple others. Can I point LB or BB to right rom so it works? Running Mame .277

Well...that's fixed the problem....the sound!! lol....speakers in...and launched a game. Some worked, some didn't...but that yet another topic for you I'm sure...lol The good thing is the bezels look to have updated so that's a plus. On to the next fix....thanks again @JoeViking245 Why would having no speakers have such a detrimental effect on the setup. Seems very unusual to me.

No it did not. Just as a side note, I do seem to have two locations for what I can only presume to be the same set of roms. One in .../downloads/mame/roms The other in .../documents/roms Just in case this may be an issue if it's not finding the right romset?!? Dunno. Both folders are the same size and same file count.

Hey Joe...thanks again for responding mate.....feel like I'm gonna be a bit of a thorn in your side for some reason....I'll answer as best as I can your questions: MAME 0.277 with Arcade emulator (i think...lol) I installed the bezels as you posted in my other thread. Through Launchbox. What do you mean "edit the emulator....and edit a game".....I'm not following sorry. Just want to get the right screenshots for you.

Hi guys....I will say I'm a total noob with all this again. First time I've had to play around with Launchbox and BB. I was wanting to instal bezels as I just had generic ones when playing my games. However after doing this, my games now no longer play. They look to launch...then show a black screen and revert back to launch menu(?). What am I looking for to try and get this working again.

Apologies it's been so long....time poor.... I have gone ahead and installed and updated as above. The only problem now is I can't actually launch any games to check if the bezels installed correclty?? Bizarre. Will open a new thread I guess and ask. I will say the installation was quick and easy, wish I got to this earlier...haha...thanks for the help so far Joe

Had a look. There are no folders per say. In mame/artwork it just opens to show all the artwork. HOWEVER, it looks like just the title screens. There doesn't seem to be any bezel artwork for the games. As for the installation, I didn't do it. I got someone to install for me so I can't answer that sorry. I can ask the guy who did it if it would help?

Apologies I left some info out for you. MAME emulator and the bezels look generic for what I assume should have bezels...like Galaga, Wonder Boy, Raiden etc. I've attached the example it currently uses.

Cheers for the response. Fixed one thank you, the exit button. Was looking at the command and the actual command, the description fell of the page so I couldn't read it entirely. For the bezels, I am referring to the arcade section of Bigbox. When I launch into a game I want the bezel to represent that game, rather than a random one with it currently does.

Couple noob questions please. 1) How do I get the bezel to match the game I'm playing. Currently shows random arcade artwork 2) When I launch a game, how do I then exit that game to get back to the main menu of BB. I know escape does it on the keyboard but how do I map it to one of my buttons and 3) How can I find my "Favorites" section? I'm starting to add games to favorites but don't know how to navigate to find this.
