  1. Update - I have learned about side-loading! And I've gotten it to work just as you suggested. Thank you!
  2. I have the Retroarch from the Play Store. Is that the 64-bit version? (I'm normally an iPhone person, I have an Android device only for Launchbox, so I'm not super familiar with the ecosystem.) The only cores I see available in Retroarch are listed as: Arcade (FinalBurn Neo) Arcade (MAME 2003-Plus) Arcade (MAME)
  3. I'm able to get the mame 2003 plus core to work (matched up with LaunchBox), but the standard mame one (which I'm assuming is matched to the standard mame libretro core in Launchbox) is giving me a black screen. I don't know that it matters - 2003+ seems to be working fine.
  4. Are you able to launch them directly from Retroarch? I'm having a similar issue: if I load from Retroarch, it works. If I try to load from LaunchBox, I just get a black screen and an app hang.
  5. I guess I shook the tree and it stopped happening. The original problem I was having was that I actually didn't know which folder it was supposed to go into - I'm not super familiar with the Android file structure so I wasn't sure if I was even putting it in the right place. (I ended up putting it in three places just in case.) Anyway, it started working at one point, possibly after a restart, though I couldn't be sure about that. All good now!
  6. I have a license and the side menu even shows that I do (Licensed to <my name>), but every time I launch the app I get the Game Limit Reached error message.
  7. That solved both of my problems, thanks! Once I'd re-added Arcade, it actually loaded mame 2010, which it hadn't been doing before.
  8. I also tested things by adding another emulator (MAME regular distribution), and I was able to see Arcade as the associated platform available for that emulator. But it's still not showing for Retroarch. I can't get games to load via MAME either, but that's a problem for another day, maybe? (The screen goes black momentarily, which is more than I got with Retroarch, but then immediately I'm back at Launchbox.)
  9. Which screenshot are you referring to? In the Associated Platforms list, Arcade should be between 3DO Interactive Multiplayer and Armstrad PC - it should be the second item in the list. On the off chance the alphabetization was weird, I also sorted by Core and looked fore mame*, but it's not there either.
  10. I don't have any trouble getting Retroarch to load other platforms, but it simply doesn't launch from Launchbox when I try an arcade/MAME game. I have confirmed that Retroarch works on its own. Until this morning, Arcade was listed as an associated platform for Retroarch, with the correct core selected (mame 2010 libretro). But it was still not working. This morning, when I got up to write this post, I went to take my screenshots and discovered that now Arcade is not an available option. So now I'm doubly confused. So I now need help on two things: where'd the Arcade associated platform go? And how do I get Retroarch to load arcade games from Launchbox, assuming I can get that associated platform back?
