I also just paid to upgrade to the latest, with a forever license, and now I can't use it.

I'm having this exact issue. I was able to click import roms very quickly after loading for the first time, but then it like switches back to the main page saying no games found and giving the windows ping when I click anything. I'm also forced to close it via task manager, right clicking the icon and saying close never actually closes it.
