    The only other thing I did was to right click on a MAME game in LB, and choose to open MAME. I then exited MAME and tried launching the game from LB and it worked. I didn't change any MAME settings.

    Yes. I rolled back and installed the previous version, and then let it update again to 13.12. All sorted then.

    None of the above is really needed for direct boot..... In Launchbox just add BeebEm with default settings On the emulator details screen do not add anything to "Default Command-Line Parameters" - this should be blank Keep all tick boxes unchecked Make sure that the ROM files you import into Launchbox are only the bootfiles You can now launch direct from Launchbox straight to game
