    Windows or linux

Hi all. I've just purchased my first pc for emulation. The specs are as followed Dell Optiplex 3050 SFF i5-7500 3.4ghz 7gen / NVMe 512GB / Ram 16GB / Win 10/ intel Hd graphics 530. What os should I use to get the max out of my hardware I love lb and BB but thinking the overhead of windows may affect the performance of the machine or batocera looks great and may be better to ave the over head for performance what are your thoughts on it?. The pc will be a dedicated emulation console and I'm hoping that it will run ps2 games and all consoles below. Do you think my specs can handle that thanks.

  5. Hi I've just started my emulator journey and I'm wanting to buy a mini pc mainly for mame arcade style games and up to GameCube and n64. I would like to run a striped down version of windows or batocera. I found a Lenovo with a i5 7400 8gb ram and a 250gb SSD would this be sufficient for my needs?. Thanks
