  1. Just tried installing the stable version of Retroarch right in LB emulator folder and I'm trying this both with and without cores and items in system folder. In the rom import wizard, if I hit next and don't select an emulator, the rom will import no problem. Soon as I select Retroarch as the emulator in the wizard, throws the import error. I thought it might have been something with the nightly standalone version but still throws error with the the stable version.
  2. I have been having no issues importing roms since I took standalone Retroarch out of LB, I tried adding Retroarch again and I immediately got the import error. Removed it and the roms imported with no issues. This is all with debugging off.
  3. Since I removed the standalone version of Retroarch link out of LB and have no other emulators in LB, so far I cant duplicate the import error anymore. I have been importing roms with leaving LB open plus also trying restarting LB after a rom import. So far no errors yet. I'll keep trying with different roms to see what happens.
  4. Tried importing 5 test roms and was still getting error with debugging off, uninstalled PCSX2 out of LB, still got error. Uninstalled 3 more emulators out of LB and left standalone version of Retroach , same error. Took Retroarch out of LB and did a repair of all items in plugin manager, roms imported with no problems then. Added Retroarch back into LB and so far no errors. I'll keep importing different roms to see if the error comes back. 🤞 Edit: The error came back after a bit when I added Retroarch in again, try again with no emulators linked to LB, see what happens I guess.....
  5. Ok, this is a new one. Usually only got the error importing roms, now I just got this right after LB started before I even did anything. Yesterday I was testing just one rom import without debugger got error, turned it on and still got the error, turned it off again and rom imported with no issues. Vlc is checked as media player in settings. This is what I got today when I started LB......... Object reference not set to an instance of an object. App: LaunchBox Version: 13.16 Theme: Neon Deluxe Arcade LB Type: System.NullReferenceException Site: Void <set_Source>b__0() Source: Meta.Vlc at Meta.Vlc.Wpf.ThreadSeparatedImage.<>c__DisplayClass27_0.<set_Source>b__0() at System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherOperation.InvokeDelegateCore() at System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherOperation.InvokeImpl() --- End of stack trace from previous location --- at System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherOperation.Wait(TimeSpan timeout) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.InvokeImpl(DispatcherOperation operation, CancellationToken cancellationToken, TimeSpan timeout) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.Invoke(Action callback, DispatcherPriority priority, CancellationToken cancellationToken, TimeSpan timeout) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.Invoke(Action callback) at Meta.Vlc.Wpf.ThreadSeparatedImage.set_Source(ImageSource value) at Meta.Vlc.Wpf.VlcPlayer.set_VideoSource(BitmapSource value) at Meta.Vlc.Wpf.VlcPlayer.VideoLockCallback(Void* opaque, Void** planes) Recent Log: 8:16:29 PM Exception
  6. So far its working its working for me now.I didn't get a chance to test it last night and I figured it was still messed up today. I first tried importing like 3 roms then 25 roms and LB moved them to my game folder but I don't know how long it will last like you said. Guess I'll keep adding them to see if the error comes back or not.
  7. I have been having the same issue as Starflash with the new update. If I try to import/copy the roms, I get the same error message. Even when I drag some roms into the game folder with LB open, LB doesn't even pick them up anymore. Only thing I found that works so far is to put them in my game folder and use Tools/Scan/For Added Roms. Then it finds them and updates everything. I haven't changed anything on my PC and it was working fine in the last versions of LB so I haven't a clue.
