Update:
Crashing has been resolved after the release of 14.01 and also after I removed/ceased using the BannerBox Theme.
Previous to the 14.01 release 14.0 crashed regardless of theme used.
It appears that the BannerBox Theme is in need of an update, I did attempt a reinstallation of it but that did not resolve.
