  1. I have Launchbox installed and the ROMs are in their proper folders. I'm ready to start installing and configuring cores and emulators. 1. I recently followed Retro Game Corps awesome guide on setting up ES-DE on a Retroid Pocket 6 (I have the 5). It was almost a 2 hour video but it showed how to set up the individual emulators. Is there a similar recent tutorial for Launchbox? Could I still use his guide to set up the emulators for Launchbox? 2. I'm using Windows 11 pro on a mini-pc. I have a 512GB main OS drive and a 1TB SSD where Launchbox is installed. I would like to keep everything self-contained but I don't know best practices. Is it best to install the stand-alone emulators on the C or D drive? Is there a special location on C or D where you like to keep your stand-alone emulators? Edit: He used Obtainium which made installing the latest emulators super easy. Is there anything like that for Windows 11? This topic may need moved since it seems to be about emulators.
  2. Thanks for the update. I think it's possible to use MAME and possibly Launchbox to find the missing files. That may be the easiest path forward. I found this 6 year old reddit post. I should have working MAME roms though so I would have to use a different filter. I won't interrupt this topic any further. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
  3. Thank you both for your replies. The list is extremely helpful so I added it to my bookmarks. I'm working on getting the files as we speak. I understand the FF games, Firefox and other files are pretty large so we might want to skip some if disk space is an issue. The 59 CHD files looks to be 149.43GB total. FWIW I'm trying to set up the mame pre configured project from this forum. I'm sharing in case the OP also likes the project. Here is what they say about the chd files.
  4. I'm new to all of this. Is this a good list of working chd files? I count 50 files but it is for mame 0.280 and I have the 0.286 non-merged set. If so can we use those file names to download the individual Mame CHDs needed to make the games run? I don't really want to download a terabyte worth CHD files if I don't need to. https://mame.spludlow.co.uk/WorkingMachines/CHD.aspx
