  1. Hi, I have been successfully using LaunchBox 4.1 for some time and overall I'm very pleased with it. However, I recently noticed the software had been updated...but my copy does not do a check for updates when it launches. Can I force this, or instead just download the installer and overwrite my old installation without losing the pretty large database I've got going? My second question relates to adding games. I set up a category for my PS2 games, added the emulator, etc. However, when I wish to add a new game to LaunchBox, I click "add" and choose the right emulator, then click the Browse button next to "ROM file" to navigate to the ISO. The annoying part is that I have to then navigate to another drive and down through several directories to find my PS2 ISOs, as LaunchBox seems to always default to its own directory. Is there some way to set specific folders for specific systems/emulators in order to avoid this? Many thanks,
  2. Jason Carr said I haven't tried it, but give it a shot and let us know if it works. If not, I'll dive in and see if I can figure it out. Hey Jason, Thanks for the helpful reply - and to bd00 for the very useful list of commands. You'll be pleased to know my WinUAE and LaunchBox are now working harmoniously. If anyone is interested, I use a slightly different command from the one in bd00's list...this is to force the emulator to load a certain config, as some Amiga games will only work on certain models. The command I use is: -f A1200.uae -s use_gui=no -s gfx_fullscreen_amiga=true -0 where the bolded part is the command for loading a particular config (in this case my A1200 setup). Thanks again and I hope this helps.
  3. It's not a solution, but a band-aid for you. Aah, thank you for that. As a fix, I had just been finding the relevant page on the site and entering the info manually, but that is a step in the right direction for sure. Thanks again!
  4. Hi there. Great work on LaunchBox so far, it is proving very handy for multiple emulators. Just wanted to add a request for WinUAE support, if possible. I've messed about with it quite a bit but can't seem to make it work properly...but if I have made some rookie mistake in doing so, I'm happy to be corrected! Cheers.
  5. Really finding LaunchBox useful but I did notice a fairly minor issue. Not sure if the problem is with the way the program scrapes data from TheGamesDB or whether the issue is with their database - but when, for example, I try to search for "F-Zero 64" nothing is found, despite the game being on TheGamesDB's database. I have tried variations, removing the hyphen, etc. to no avail. There are one or two other instances of this problem that I've found, most often when the game has a very short name? For example, I could not find data for the PS2 games "Ico" or "Oni" with LaunchBox, again despite them being on TheGamesDB. Keep up the good work and hopefully this won't be too irritating a problem to fix! Cheers.
