  1. Hi-lo! I've only now started using the new Big Box feature and, whilst I'm liking it for the most part, I've got one particular hang-up with it that keeps me from using it on a regular basis: its game lists seem to be ignoring the sort titles for each game, so any game that has a sort title that leaves the "A" article out of the title still somehow finds its way at the top of an alphabetical list. I'm a bit of an organizing nut, so this is kinda annoying for me. I hope this gets fixed in the near future.
  2. SentaiBrad said Maybe I should rephrase that, if Ctrl + Clicking was implemented would that solve the problem? It would, partially. However, unless true tag exclusion becomes available, it would make excluding one single tag a bit of a hassle, especially if you have a lot of different tags.
  3. SentaiBrad said Would pressing Ctrl then selecting multiple options you want achieve the same result for you? You could select all the Genres you want and just not Ctrl + Click the ones you want to exclude. I've tried ctrl-clicking, and that doesn't seem to work, not even when I try to select genres to filter. Seriously, I have looked in every single nook and cranny of the program itself, and I haven't found a feature like this anywhere.
  4. So far, I haven't seen the ability to filter certain games based on what tag(s) they don't have (unless I haven't looked far enough). Say I want LaunchBox to pick a random game for me that isn't in the "Strategy" genre. Even typing in a long list of genres except the one I don't want doesn't seem to work. Another potential new feature, perhaps?
  5. Yup! Thanks for implementing it in the most recent update.
  6. Title says it all. It's mostly indie and classic titles, all mixed into one big potpourri of game genres. These are the first 40 out of a total of 84 games. 66 of them are purchased from GOG.com (No DRM FTW), 8 are from Steam (eversion, Poker Night 2, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Spore, Spore: Galactic Adventures, Team Fortress 2, Worms Reloaded, Worms: Ultimate Mayhem), 3 are from the Humble Store (The Binding of Isaac + Wrath of the Lamb, The Blackwell Epiphany, Haunt the House: Terrortown), 1 is a paid beta (Cube World), 1 is freeware (Dreaming Mary), one is from *shudder* Origin (The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection), and 1 is... well, Minecraft. I've also included 3 web browser games (Pretend You're Xyzzy (aka CAH online), Profitania, Town of Salem), but whether they count is up to your judgement.
  7. I was talking about any game you play from a webpage in a browser (and may or may not be online), whether it'd be run through a Flash Player or programmed in some HTML-ish witchcraft or the like. Apparently, LaunchBox doesn't support URL formats entered directly into the application path. I hadn't thought of making a shortcut to a webpage before. I've tried it now, and it works like a charm. Thanks for the tip, bd00.
  8. Hello. I just downloaded LaunchBox and added my wide collection of digitally downloaded PC games to properly organize, and I gotta say, I wish I heard of this tool much sooner. Now, as I was adding my games, I got a bit curious about something: "Would it be possible to add a browser-based game to the bunch, and run it by opening your default browser to the web address entered?" Of course, it was not the case with my version, but maybe this could be a new feature? I do understand if this seems completely infeasible or otherwise unnecessary. I just thought it'd be a neat idea.
