  1. it took steam forever to do so.. other launch programs lack it and emulators have that option as native so.. just a curiosity.. is it that difficult. (i'm not a programmer)
  2. yes but why not just add the option in the launchbox program itself to repoint the directory
  3. not me no but i remember a couple of us were asking about it being implemented so perhaps i missed your reply to us (me)? i'm familiar with editing cfg/ini/xml files and such just didn't recall a response. i think i can twerk it this way until (or if) it is ever implemented.. would be a wonderful featuer for guys like us that have 6 hard drives and constantly moving things around to make room.. etc.. 6 tbs and counting.. but a great help you've been. i will just set up my drives/folders so that i shouldn't have to move them around in the first place and reinstall launchbox. if i ever do need to move folders around i'll just do it this way...
  4. will that work with entire game/emulator paths?
  5. perfect and thank you.. i'll reinstall it today :)
  6. the only reason i do not use launchbox is that when i very first installed it months back, it took forever to add all of my games and download the art etc.. then when i wanted to relocate my game directories.. i couldn't. after contacting admin here and verifying that i in fact could not do this, i never tried again. has this been fixed/appended or are relocating game directories from within the launchbox application still not supported.. thank you! 8D
  7. well thankx for the reply Jay and i checked it out but no dice on my end. i do know it's an emu specific issue although i know there are fixes and such for others i.e. previous versions of project 64 etc. anyway, i'll use launchbox to 'see' the games in my library and when the emulator opens i'll just go on and reload it from there (in the emu menu itself.) interesting thread you posted though, that loader got past me somehow but again. no cigar. thankx for the quick response. there are other emus as well which have similar issues (kat5200) but hey, just being able to see the menu in launch is aok. ~ MOS
  8. This is not an issue directly related to the LaunchBox application but seeing as i am using the application to setup my emulators I'll go on and post it here and see if anyone might have an easy solution. Basically everything has been setup correctly as the emulators i have added thus far work just fine. I double click on the game in LaunchBox and it opens the emulator and runs the associated game; however, I have run into an emulator which opens when i double click the game display icon in LaunchBox but that's all it does. It does not run the associated game. The emulator (although it could be any emulator for this issue) is called Project Tempest (Atari Jaguar) and is a standard .exe file. The files themselves (.jag files) have been associated to the PT.exe in Windows itself and I get the same effect when double clicking the .jag files when not using the LaunchBox application as well. Basically my question is this; is there a command line argument solution around this issue or perhaps some other 'fix'? Thank you all in advance for your replies. ~ MOS
