  1. Well, this is embarassing! It turns out some time in the past I had set my Steam profile to private, and that was impeding Launchbox from finding my games. You can lock this thread now, as it was all a fault on my side. Though, just to help other users, it could be useful tu print a message that says that your profile is set to private instead of saying that no new games are found... of course only if the Steam API can let you know such information. Thanks!
  2. That's very strange, I deleted the games, not the platform. They don't show up on any search or when I browse categories without any filter. I also searched for my Steam titles inside launchbox.xml and they also don't appear there. Is there any other file or cache that may still contain a reference to my Steam games? The only explanation I can think of is that for some reason something wasn't properly deleted...
  3. Hi, I'm having and issue while using the Import from Steam feature. The first time I used it, it worked fine, and all the games in my library were added without problems. Then, I erase all my Steam games from Launchbox, and when I'm trying to re-import them, I get a message saying that no additional games are found in my Steam library. I've made sure that they are no longer in my Launchbox library, but it seems that the importer still sees them there.
  4. Thanks for the suggestions. Either way there's a lot of work I'll have to do by hand. To keep my library clean, I think the best approach would be for me to manually enter each game's region and missing metadata. One suggestion for a future version would be to automatically fill each game's metadata according to its filename (title or checksum), depending on the nomenclature the user chooses (GoodMerge, No-Intro, TOSEC, etc). Or better yet, try to match the name with one of the many existing rom info databases, like this: http://emumovies.com/forums/files/file/607-system-ini-files, instead of connecting to TheGamesDB, which is very incomplete. This would save a lot of time to collectors who own full rom sets.
  5. Hi, First of all, excellent job making this software! After having tried multiple frontends over the last years, I feel this is the one that fits my needs best. I'm considering buying premium once all my (10K+) games are imported into the frontend. I'm having an issue while importing ROMs, though. I have a collection of ROMs that use the NoIntro nomenclature, and when I try to import them through the Import Folder wizard, the words between parenthesis are not parsed. That means that if I have a game that has the same name in two or more regions, the wizard will add two games with the same name (no region tag), creating confusion when trying to add metadata, cover images or running the game. This is a screenshot of the differences between the filename and the name that is imported: Is there a way to use the filename as the game title without it being cut automatically?
