  1. Thanks for the reply, but I did what you said and I am still having the same problem.
  2. I am wanting to filter my MAME set using the new features in Launchbox 5.7, but everytime I scan the roms folder it scans for a few mionutes and tells me that 0 new roms were added. I have tried completely removing the MAME platform and starting over with it from scratch and that did not even work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Thanks for everything I'll give it a shot.
  4. Thank you very much for the instructions. I will give it a try. One other question, I have the entire current MAME rom set of over 30,000 or so roms, and it takes several hours to scan them all. Anyway, My question is this, is their an ini or config file I can back up to save my current Launchbox settings so if iI mess up the filtering process I won't have to start all over again?
  5. I have the latest version of Launchbox and I think the ability to sort MAME roms is a great feature but I can not figure out how to do it. Could someone please give me simple, easy to follow, step-by-step instructions on how to filter the roms by region, clones, etc.. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
  6. I was just wondering if it is possible to set more than one emulator per platform? The reason I ask is because with some systems some games run better on one emulator than another. If it possible to do this could someone please explain how. I would really appreciate it.
  7. OIC Thank you. I just want to say once again great front-end, and keep up the great work.
  8. I love Launchbox it is the best front end their is in my opinion. But, I am having an annoying problem with SCUMMVM. I can not figure out how to change the version of SCUMMVM that Launchbox uses. I tried deleting the files in the Launchbox SCUMMVM folder and replacing them with a newer version. But it still launches the older version of SCUMMVM when I launch a game. any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Thanx for all your help so far. I got retroarch to load and it runs great, I just have one further question. I have watched several tutorials for Retroarch on youtube and done a lot of Google searching. I even searched the Retroarch forums with no luck. I really need instructions on how to use cheats with Retroarch. I know it is possible because I downloaded the cheat pack from the Retroarch github. I just can't figure out where to place the files or how to activate the cheats. please help me with this I would really appreciate it.
  10. I thought I would test out Retroarch using Sega CD. Since I only have one Sega CD game I thought it would be a quick way to test the emulator out. I set up the emulator the same way I do every other emulator making it my default emulator for Sega CD games etc.. I also downloaded all the cores and put them in a folder in the main retroarch folder and named the new folder cores. My problem is this whenever I click on the game in Launchbox it shows the loading circle for a few seconds, but it doesn't load retroarch. I'm sure this is something I am doing wrong and not a Launchbox problem. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
  11. I don't know if you are familiar with this emulator as it is not not as well known as SNES9x, but it is by far the most cycle accurate SNES emulator ever. My problem is this, whenever I double-click a SNES game in Launchbox it opens Higan but it doesn't load the game. I know every emulator is different and some emulators need a specific command line to work properly. I was just wondering if their is a fix to get the games to auto load when using the Higan emulator. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. And as a side note I just want to say again that Launchbox is F'n amazing.
  12. Thanx for your reply. I should have researched further before posting. I figured out you can use Escape as an alternative to right clicking to bring up Magic Engine's Menu. I feel like such a dope for overlooking such an obvious solution LOL.
  13. I am not a big fan of Retroarch, and am wanting to use Magic Engine for my TG-16 collection. Launchbox loads the emulator and game perfectly. But in Magic Engine you have to right click to bring up the emulators menu, and every time I right click the emulator window after loading it through Launchbox it closes out of the emulator instead of bringing up the menu. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
  14. Thanx for the reply Man. It may take a while but I'll just add them individually. And again, I'd just like to commend you on a great job with Launchbox.
  15. Thanx for your help. I overlooked the add option in the menus. One other question. I have a rather large collection of SCUMMVM games. Is their a way to add them all at once like you can with the console games?
