  1. Thanks for your reply, Brad. There's one additional thing I've observed (and please bear with me, because I have ZERO knowledge about software programming, so what I'm about to say may sound really stupid ). This problem is definitely not related to closing and opening the LaunchBox program per se, but to the resizing of the program's window (i.e., 'unmaximizing' it when it's maximized and then maximizing it again). The thing is that, each time I close LaunchBox, the program window first unmaximizes for a split second before actually closing, which is why next time I launch the program, the "Details" section resets its width. Conversely, if, for instance, I change some settings under Options and tell LaunchBox to restart, it restarts without resizing the window first, and upon restarting, the Details section keeps the desired width. So I guess what I'm saying is, I understand this may be a Windows bug, but is it necessary for the LaunchBox window to resize / unmaximize each time the program closes? Because I believe that's causing the issue and maybe it can be bypassed.
  2. Hi. Lately I've been customizing LaunchBox to filter my games and to look exactly how I want it to. For the most part, the experience has been seamless and very enjoyable. The only problem I've had is related to the width of the "Game Details" section on the right. Each time I close the program and open it again, that section goes back to its original width, which is much thinner than I want it to be. I'm attaching a couple of screenshots to illustrate this issue. As a sidenote, this not only happens when you close the program per se. If the LaunchBox window is maximized, 'de-maximizing' it and then maximizing it again triggers the exact same problem—the section's width resets. This does not happen with the sidebar on the left, which has always kept the custom width I gave it. I'm running the latest version of LaunchBox Premium (5.10) on Windows 7 64-bit SP1. Any suggestions / possible fixes?
  3. Jason Carr said Hi @JKeift, this should indeed be fixed in the latest version (5.5). Are you still experiencing slow download times? I get notified about this every once in a while, but every time I go and test it myself the download is fast, so I'm at a loss. Hi, Jason. I just got your e-mail in reply to the bug report. After reading it, I opened Launchbox to download the update and the download was lightning fast. Not sure what may have been the problem earlier, but I'm glad the speed is back to normal! Regarding the bug itself, after the update, I've been highlighting games like crazy for the last 5 minutes in an attempt to reproduce it, but to no avail. So I guess it has indeed been fixed. I'll let you know if it ever comes up again. Thanks for your help! Joaquin
  4. Hi, I already reported this bug a couple of days ago, but thought it would be a good idea to also post about it here in case it happened to someone else. Basically, when I am in the normal (i.e., non-Big-Box) mode, sometimes if I highlight a couple of games, a lengthy error prompt pops up and the "Details" ponel on the left becomes a white rectangle with a red cross. The only way to get rid of it is to restart the program. This happened to me several times in the last few weeks. I'm attaching an image to better illustrate the problem. As mentioned in the thread title, I'm using Launchbox 5.3 Premium. I know there's a newer version, but for some reason when I tried to update from within the program the last couple of times, the download was extremely slow and I had to stop it (it's worth mentioning that my internet connection was fine, so it seemed to be related to the program or the servers). I'll try to update again later and see if the download's faster.
  5. Hey, I made a quick search and didn't find anything about this. I am manually adding screenshots to many games for which the "Download Images" function found no screenshots automatically. The only way I see to add screenshots is to open the "Edit" window individually for each game, drag the pic to the image box and then specify that it is a screenshot (instead of fanart, etc.) Seeing how I'm talking about more than one hundred games, I think it would be extremely useful if Launchbox allowed to just drag the image (from my browser or from a Windows folder) to the sidebar that contains the game info and screenshots. That way, we could avoid opening the "Edit" window for each individual game. Jason, do you think that feature would be feasible and simple enough to add? It would save me and many others a lot of time. Thanks for reading! Joaquin (proud owner of LB Premium )

    Play time?

Ah, gotcha. And here I thought it was actually a simple feature to implement. Then again, I know nothing about programming. Thanks for the reply, and great job. EDIT: btw, just purchased the premium license. You deserve every penny for your work, and the fact that you're still developing it and adding new features makes it even more exciting.

    Play time?

Hi. I downloaded LaunchBox a couple of days ago and, for lack of a better term, I'm positively infatuated with it. Thank you for this gem. Anyway, about my question, I was wondering if there's a play time feature (i.e., hours played) for each game or if it's going to be added in the future. I searched the forums but couldn't find anything about this.
