lol if you listen fluent design is only for UWP apps and while I don't have issue with UWP people would be out with their pitch forks if Jason tried to switch LB over to using it.

I know, maybe its too soon for UWP LaunchBox.

Jason, thanks for the new Beta :)

There's a DOS version while you wait.

It's funny you mention this - I've been setting up a number of 3.1 games lately (via a 3.1 instance within DOSBox).

I Added some games from other platforms using old emulators for DOS such as...

no$GB, Nesticle, Genecyst, MAME, Stella, VICE, zSNES,....

    Source

  3. I saw today streaming, great work Jason

But tool menu is so big, maybe It could be arranged different. For example

    • Merge Import & Install MSDOS Wizard
    • Dosbox option inside on "Manage Emulators"
    • Use a submenu for AutoHotkey
    • Move Random Game to FILE Menu

Finally, I added a very early wall view to the Big Box games lists. Please note that it's still in development and I expect quite a few things to change before the official release (such as adding proper up/down navigation). We'll probably get back to the wall view in the live stream on Monday.

     :)

Amazing!!! I love it!! Great Work Jason!!!

Its excelent when a new kind of view is implemented

A wall as W8/10 also could be a great implementation :). We are using .NET 4.7 so it could be possible

    • Leverage the power of your PC

Enjoy Civilization VI from the comfort of your couch with a tablet, play Stardew Valley on the go from your phone or just enjoy your favorite PC games on macOS and Linux all at 60FPS.

    • No additional hardware required

Any GPU that supports DirectX 11 can take advantange of the Rainway MSG protocol.

    • Pain-free setup

Rainway handles configuring your network and securing your connection so the only thing you have to worry about is playing your games.

I like the idea of make an arcade machine without a HDD or play on my (future) Nintendo Switch :D

Sorry for the lack of new betas, guys; I'm slaving away over here but the plugin engine makes it difficult to release new betas mid-development. Speaking of the plugin engine, development is going very well. I'm hoping to have a beta out by end of day tomorrow with plugin support. :)

    For the development-inclined, here's a teaser: http://pluginapi.launchbox-app.com

That's MSDN-style documentation for the future plugin system. It's not complete yet (I have a lot more to add to it), but you can get an idea of how everything will work.

    Excellent News!! Great work!

For future releases 8X,9X,10X we can make a poll to decide which is/are the best/popular plugins and then it will be implemented as default feature  for the next big release

Obviously with the authorization of the creator and his help to implement it

Well, then I just have a go at some mockups and see if anyone wants to join forces.  I only have light to moderate coding knowledge so the need for a partner is pretty vital.

I use bigbox on 2 sources:

    - Custom Arcade cabinet with a real arcade monitor capable of 800x600

    - My 65" 4K tv

So I'd like the theme to be as versitile as possible, which may call for the need of 2 versions, a low and high res, 4:3 / 16:9 version

Anyhow, I'll get to work on some mockups and should have something to show within a few days

    Try with somthing simple

    Example
