Just sorted it finally, it was in Options-Media-Video Priorities, I selected “Revert to Default” from right hand side of screen clicked ok and all seems to be working as it should, well at least in Launchbox, just about to try in BigBox…….wish me luck. Yes…….BigBox also working as should. Thanks for your help really appreciated, hope this can help any others who might have similar issue .

Yes i have a lifetime License, the videos do not play, every game just shows a still screenshot not sure if this is a still screen of the video or just a screenshot of the game.Checked the Auto-Play-Videos is already checked. Just to clarify in BigBox it show a still screenshot instead of the video snapshot but in Launchbox it shows the 3D boxes instead of the video snaps, i am not to bothered about the video snaps not working in Launchbox but really wanted them to work in BigBox, why was the VLC plugging removed seems to be a slight coincidence that this has happened at the same time. The Platform videos seem to play without any problems

I seem to also be having this problem since latest upgrade, I am am on a licensed version and currently have no game video snaps working in either Launchbox or BigBox, they used to work fine before the update.Not sure if it as anything to do with the removal of the VLC video plugin, is there a way to add that plugin in back manually?

Exactly same problem here since latest upgrade, I cannot see any of the game preview videos, just shows a still picture of each game. I have also noticed that I do not have the VLC video plugin as an option anymore.

I seem to be having a problem with both Launchbox or Big Box not loading anymore, just keep getting an unexcpected error message, i have attached a screen shot. Is there anyway of reinstalling without losing my Games and media etc.....

Trying to create multiple .txt files of my PS3 PSN games is there a quicker and easier way than copying and pasting each game name manually

I have just started to build my new Launchbox system, everything seemed to be going really well until I added some 3Ds roms, for some reason I now have a duplicate Genesis platform along side the 3DS platform inside the Handheld Category, I dare not delete it incase it also deletes the original Genesis platform which is inside of the Console Category. Any help would be very appreciated.

I am using Bullguard, and has always given problems always trying to block programs from installing, think i will look into changing it as it expires very soon. Thanks for recommendations.

Finally got it working, I had to shut down my Antivirus program so it was completely disabled. Even tough i had excluded both LaunchBox and BigBox exe files the Antivirus kept removing the files when installing the new beta update. Thanks for the quick and helpful replies.

Thanks for replies, will try to update again to latest beta and report back, it is working ok on 6.12 and all the beta versions up to this recent one.

Just updated to latest beta, but will not work nothing happens will not start Launchbox or BigBox. Tried with my virus program disabled but made no difference. The only way to get it working it to reinstall the 6.12 stable build, but i was using the beta version before this most recent update and everything worked fine. Any help would be appreciated
