  1. So selling a couple old things I can push to this PC http://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/Primal-GS2-196p2453.htm That looks powerful enough for most my Steam games and the emus I want to play. But is that Intel G4400 decent or would it be worth the extra £50 or so for the i3 chip upgrade?
  2. No worries of going off-topic, I've got my answer already. I'm going to sell a couple other things and get a better machine. I had the WiiU last year and liked it, I only sold it as needed to get cash quick but did have some fun games. I would say the first game I'd buy now on it would be Mario Maker, with the option to play other people's games too the game would have longevity and I do love Mario games anyway. Clive, your Steam link in signature links to a missing profile btw
  3. Ah OK. I will pass on that one then. I'm looking at this one now which I can get tomorrow in town. It seems OK as 3.1GHz though not sure how Athlon ones are but this seems to be made for Steam so should be good for me and I can add Launchbox Bigbox Mode as a shortcut in Steam Syber Vapor A PC Gaming Console - Black • AMD R9 270 2GB • Windows 8.1 PLUS Steam Big Picture mode ready • Athlon X4 840 3.1GHz • 4GB of lightening Fast DDR3 RAM • Wi-Fi • 500GB large capacity HDD Thanks for your help
  4. I'm not sure of the gpu but it is Win10 installed on it. Could you please give your opinion on this small pc: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/desktop-pcs/desktop-pcs/hp-pavilion-mini-300-130na-desktop-pc-10133646-pdt.html That has an Intel i3 5005U processor. Does that look good enough spec to run Bigbox Mode well for the most part.. any emulators that you think still wouldn't work very well? Though tbh I mainly will be playing Megadrive games and launching through to Steam to play my Steam games
  5. OK thanks for info. I had already enabled the gamepad under Launchbox but Bigbox Mode just seems to hang as soon as loaded. I suspect you are right and it simply isn't powerful enough. I'll probably sell this tablet and get a little pc to hook up to the telly and will make sure it is a lot more powerful. Cheers
  6. Hi. I've the LinxVision tablet with gaming controls. The Launchbox detects the gamepad in the settings and I can navigate using the gamepad dock of the tablet. But when I enter Bigbox Mode all I get is the screen showing and no controls work at all not even touch. It starts up and I hear the intro speech and splash. Then it shows the screen with "Platforms" and under that shows "PC". I've only imported my Steam games so far. It shows the total of my Steam games, 345, though only 3 are installed, and it shows the square thumbnail next to that stat of the PC. Along the bottom it shows thumbs of Recent games, and I can see 3 thumbs here and the forth is cropped at right side of screen... as if I should be able to scroll along to see all my games thumbs. This screen is completely unresponsive though... my gamepad controls don't do anything... I can touch swipe the thumbs or even tap on then to launch the three I can see in view. I have the paid license too btw. Is this a specification issue, is the LinxVision not powerful enough with 2GB RAM?
