  1. Thanks. Where are the media limits set so I can check?
  2. I've read all over the forums about issues with scraping Emumovies--though none recently unless I'm missing something. For me when I select a group of games and update their data, it updates from Launchbox DB correctly, then it gets to Emumovies, says it has like 200 items to download, gets to like number 17, and then just quits--declaring that it has downloaded 17 items. There is no explanation for what happened to the other items it was going to download. Sometimes it gets past 17 but it never gets all the way to 200 or whatever number. Is this something that is currently going on? I've used Launchbox for five years and I never had this issue until last few months. This is a series of windows games and most are missing videos etc because Emumovies download keeps quitting. My login there works fine. I am a paid user. Thanks!
  3. Running win 10 x64. Fully updated.
  4. Here are my dumps. For mine, when I scroll it messes up the text like the pic above--but if I click another window it corrects--but if I scroll it does it again immediately. Dump.zip
  5. Exact same thing is happening to me--just this afternoon. It's not just him, so I doubt this is faulty hardware. I've got beta 3 now and the same thing is happening.
  6. Appears to have fixed it. Thanks!
  7. Should I do a "Report Issue" on this?
  8. Actually, it won't scrape ms-dos at all. I'm entering various file names in the box and telling it to search and it will only find wikipedia entries. If I turn wikipedia off it finds nothing--even if I enter space, space quest, or even something like simcity. Now, other platforms(checked nes and arcade for example) can find data on the LocalDB, but nothing is scraping from LocalDB for MS DOS platform. I am using the latest beta. Is this a new bug?
  9. At the moment all of the space quest games. If I click on search for metadata it doesn't find anything. Here are three titles. all on the MS-DOS platform: Space Quest I: The Sarien Encounter Space Quest II: Vohauls Revenge Space Quest III: The Pirates of Pestulon These were imported from exodos using a special method of my own. that's how the titles appear in the system. there are more but the import just finished so I figured if I figure out what is wrong here I can probably correct it on the others.
  10. If that could ever be added as a changeable field in the mass edit function--but I guess that is a feature request. I also note that some of the games aren't matching the metadata in the games database on the site here. For example, I've got some space quests--with titles written exactly the same way they are in the database on this webpage--but they aren't coming up even when I try to go back and match it manually. Has this been an issue?
  11. So I installed a bunch of dos games. I put dosbox.conf files in each. I want Launchbox to run it from those, rather than the executable it picks from the directory. I understand that if I delete the info from the executable field, it will run the conf. However, is there a way to change that on all the dos profiles en mass? I tried multiple edit but that field isn't one you can change. Tried searching and replacing the xml file but Launchbox noticed and stated the xml was corrupted(I had it backed up of course). Any other way to do this--or else is there a way to add them without Launchbox trying to pick an executable?
  12. Okay, so I am making progress. I imported my d-fend data from windows profiles in an unorthodox way. I found an old version of the software, used it to import the d-fend profiles, then updated that software to the present version. Problem solved. I also bought a license. However, I am still left with the problem that there are no individual attached directories for each game--a place to store other documents. I can create them individually by adding explorer.exe as an additional app under each game and pointing it at a document folder--but doing that for hundreds of profiles is going to be terribly tedious. Is there a way to automate this? Perhaps editing the XML file directly?(For the Gamebase.exe databases I used to do this by editing the database files directly in microsoft access. Saved a ton of time--but I don't know of a way to do that with XML)?
  13. Okay, thanks, some things to consider. When importing game metadata, DFR has a function where it lists titles found that are close to yours--in case there isn't an exact match. I sometimes rename some of my roms and there can be trouble finding them. Is there a way to do that in launchbox?
  14. Hi, I'm just starting to use this frontend. I have been using Dfend Reloaded for years to run everything--all my windows, dos, emulators. I also use it to keep track of my console games--even though they don't have an actual file, it gives me someplace to keep manual PDFs and eguides etc. DFR is getting a bit older though, and isn't being updated much, so it seems time to make a switch. I've read in various spots on the website about an import function for DFR--but I can't find it. Is it stiill there? Also, is there a way to add a documents folder for each game like in DFR? I see where manuals and music go, but how about other random documents like guides, faqs, etc? Thanks!
