I just downloaded a romset that has every sega game ever created in it. The problem that im running into is the file had multiple files of the same game so im wondering if theres any way that i can put them in Luanchbox without the duplicates

A quick search and one of the top results: "You need to create a zip file named dc.zip and but all the Demul BIOS files in that (including mpr-21931.ic501) and put that in Demul's roms folder." Maybe Derek can advise further, but like I said make sure you have the right BIOS files and make sure they're selected properly. More or less following the video, and if your BIOS don't work you'll need to find a different set. I dont see a rom folder in Demul

So when i try to load them it says Unable to find 'mpr-21931.ic501'dc'

So thats both shenmues both separate files

SentaiBrad said With Demul I've never had luck with loading GDI from LaunchBox, only CDI images. I have a cdi file as well on the other shenmue i downloaded but i cant get either to launch even through the emulator itself

I have curse voice if anyone is willing to maybe talk me through it

So then my next questions are, GDI, CDI and what emulator are you trying to use. Like Derek was saying, some may not be good choices. I have a GDI file and im on the demul emulator

DOS76 said What kind of system do you have? Demul won't run good on low end hardware NullDC might be better. If you have a halfway decent computer though Demul is the way to go. I have a gaming pc alienware desktop i can run almost any game on high to ultra

SentaiBrad said Yes you can easily use imgur or the "img" button when making a post. I would ask you give the Tutorial a watch first though to see if you've got everything correct. Ive downloaded two different roms of Shenmue neither work im wondering if im not unpacking them right or what?
