What naming convention are your roms using. I do see some drastic differences vs the redump standard. But as far as I can tell all of these vids exist. IE: all Disney games start with Disney or Disney-Pixar, and Nickelodeon in front of sponge bob games. These almost look like the old Hyperlist naming convention. if you click on the file listing you should see the differences. We are right on the verge of rolling out our v3 api with database based matching which should make this way better. Also the standalone em sync app will also match quite a bit better. Auditing your roms to redump naming should give you a 100% result for coverage regardless.

Quite a few updates for the Sony Playstation video snaps collection today. We have 1,170 new and updated videos, all audited against the latest redump database. This brings the total number of official video snaps for the Playstation to 2,581. Captures by @Circo & @drewby, videos are our standard 30seconds of gameplay followed by 10 seconds of title screen. Captures were made using Mister and Retroarch. All of these new videos are also available in HD quality via Sync and FTP. After 2 years of effort we here at EmuMovies have finally completely re-recorded and remade the complete MAME video snap set. The previous set had its roots going back 16 years and things look so much better now. The new videos are available in 1080p, 480p and 240p sizes depending on your use case and are available on the website in 240p quality and on our FTP and Sync services in all quality levels. Thanks to our internal team for helping to get all these done, edited and available. We will keep posting updates to our sync and ftp services monthly as new titles come out (we are working on another update right now) but if we don't just stop and announce our progress nobody will know! So please take a moment and refresh your video snaps, you will be glad you did. It’s back up, sorry about that. The auth bug crept back up and we thought we smashed it for good this time. Sorry for the couple hours of downtime folks.

This is a weird one, just checked and it seems to be working fine. I show about 80 users currently logged in through launchbox. I'll keep digging and please feel free to put a support ticket in at emumovies since this is not a global issue. It's possible there is just an outage somewhere in between the server and the end user. Edit did some further testing from home, added a system in launchbox, set EmuMovies as the only media to scrape, and everything worked just fine. So please if you are for some reason having an issue please submit a ticket and we will try to see what the problem you are having is.

It’s been in private alpha testing for a couple of years now. Everything kept very hush hush. I’ve had it running on my cab for months. They just dropped a HyperTheme demo and there is a full demonstration livestream happening right before the launch. Gonna be an interesting weekend, that’s for sure. HyperSpin is what you expect for a 2025 version, everything else (HyperHQ/HyperTheme) is a bit shocking.

This is great info, never knew that. We added music 2 weeks ago to mame and it was submitted using launchbox naming vs rom naming. Had no idea that would break the integration. Now that I realize whats happening that makes sense. We will pull down the music category for MAME on the LaunchBox server until such time we can get those files renamed.

I’ll run this up the flagpole, I don’t think it’s on the emumovies side as all the files are present and it’s only mame being affected.

So I would just be wildly guessing as to what the issue is there. I won’t see my test rig until Monday, going to the CAX game show in Santa Clara.
