We figured it out, should be fixed by end of day. What a week!

After more than a year of work we are finally releasing our Nintendo Wii video snap set. Version 1.0 includes 1,129 videos in HD, HQ & SQ formats. We have been adding these videos to EmuMovies Sync as we got them done over the last year so some of our supporting members may have some of these already. I posted this in the Game Media section but it is probably better to be here. Over the last couple of months we have been working on making the EmuMovies sync implementation faster in LaunchBox. We have finally launched these changes and users should experience a 5 to 10 times faster download speed when scraping within launchbox. We have also addressed some other minor bugs and hopefully you will have a much better experience when populating media. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Happy retrogaming!

Hey all, Been working on speeding up the EmuMovies integration within Launchbox specifically, though this does affect any other implementations. Users should notice on average a 5-10x improvement. Looking for some testers to beat on this a bit and make sure it holds. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. We also tried to address some other lingering bugs.

Update for the EmuMovies MAME video snap set today gives us 490 new video snaps bringing the set into compliance with MAME .236. I can't thank @joe35carenough for auditing the set so we could get these done for everyone. We have a lot more of these to do as they are super clean. Recording at 4k with our newest editing guidelines really makes me want to redo the whole set. We have about 4 systems in development at the moment but eventually we will get a complete HD set out for everyone. In the meantime this fill a bunch of gaps and Joe has already found more for us to record. This didn't used to be an issue, i've escalated to our dev to get some answers. Very strange. I'm tot sure what the session length is but i'll find out. I would think that if LB gets that error it should re authenticate the session. I haven't heard from Jason on this but ill pass on what I find out here and send Jason a note.

Ok I am going to try and be proactive here. The things i turned off earlier to bring it back up actually need to be on. We have been working on it all day and are going to try out the new code. If there is an interruption just now we are actively monitoring and it should not be for long. EDIT: All done with no down time

Everyone, I added cloud flare to emumovies last night and disrupted communications to the authentication scripts. We should have it back online within a few hours and the majority of our recent changes (and inconveniences) over at emumovies should be solved for hopefully a long while.

Ok it's back up now. Security additions gone wrong. Can someone give it a test? I'm getting no errors on my end with the EmuMovies Sync Tool

Doing some more looking, going to check if it's just launchbox or the whole service. So far I am only getting reports from launchbox users, no reports using our sync app so I need to see if it's EM or LB

Try it now, the only changes made to sync were firewall related, I just turned it off to see if that solves the issue.

Looking into it, sorry for the delay, we have a whole lotta moves going on in the background this weekend. Sync should have remained unaffected but when it rains it pours. I posted an announcement over at EmuMovies. Will update it once resolved. Is everyone having this problem or is it only some users?

Version 1.9 of the EmuMovies Sega Saturn video snaps collection has been released. This update is because I was stuck in bed for months this year and felt that the video snaps for Sega Saturn could use some love since the emulation has improved a lot. This led to me passing the time away revisiting the Saturn on my laptop. This is not a full redo but more will come. This update adds or replaces 704 video snaps for the system.
