  1. I'm trying to go through tutorials on youtube. Looking for ones specifically about features I have missed over the years. They are mixed in with all the tutorials regarding setting up different emulators/rom sets. Why not make the emulaion/rom set tutorials it's own playlist?
  2. Unfortunately, backups were lost as well. I'm happy I can just transfer all the media over. You are very correct. Instead of a quick fix I think I will take the time to relearn, map out and rebuild. Just briefly looking at some forums posts I'm beginning to see how robust this software truly has become. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
  3. Sigh ok So I was a pretty early adapter of LaunchBox. Early 2016 i believe. Followed tutorials, built my frontend and left it at that. I was happy with what it was. It's been years since i really paid attention to whats been going on with this software. I've used bigbox exclusively for almost the entire time. I've added a few romsets, always updated when prompted. Today after almost 8 years, I have to rebuild it. Good news is I had all my media backed up. Just not the program itself. If someone could just give me a very basic idea of my best way of going about this. Should I just import wizard everything? Let it download all that media again, delete everything I had backed up? Can I just import all the roms with the wizard, drop all the media in the proper folders and it will magically just work? I'm not overly concerned about re-downloading images. There's probably much better scans now than back in 2016. It's more so the videos i don't want to download again, Is there a updated tutorial on YouTube or anything that you guys would recommend I watch that factors in all the new features I don't want to ignore? I feel very overwhelmed, there has been so many updates and upgrades to this software over the years that I have just ignored. I don't even know where to begin. Lastly, Jason If you see this. Sorry for ignoring all the work you have put into this great program. As you will probably understand, family, work, priorities. Your work and dedication is appreciated though. Appreciate any input, thanks for reading.
  4. Wasn't sure if i should stick this in the noob section as I had just purchased and began playing around with launchbox today. I'm very impressed so far by not only the software but also the devs dedication and passion for his project and his customers. I was instantly sold. I had one very minor issue, only came across it once so far. I just loaded all my nes roms as my first system added. Was editing out duplicates when i picked my Challenge of the Dragon rom. Instead of game music it played what i can only describe as very loud garbled electronic noise. Not sure if its a common thing or maybe it's just me. Is there a way to permanently disable the game music for a single game? I do like the game music playing in the menu option and would like to keep it on if it is in fact only this game that has issues.
