  1. I ended up getting a different laptop and it seems to work fine so far on it. Thanks for all the help! Jim
  2. SentaiBrad said I didn't need all that, but thank you it is helpful. Unfortunetly, your CPU, RAM and maybe your Hard Drive (I can't tell, but if it's an internal 2.5" drive, it's probably SATA3 5400RPM) seem to be what's holding this back. It should STILL launch though, so I am confused. Did you install LaunchBox in it's default location? Do you happen to AV Software opened while you are trying to open LB? It is a 5400 rpm drive and i took all the defaults when installing. immunet 3 (AV) was running in the background. ill try uninstalling, stopping immunet, then reinstall launchbox. thanks
  3. SentaiBrad said How old is your laptop? Where is LaunchBox installed, as in is it on the internal 5400 RPM Drive? hope this helps Thanks SiSoftware Sandra Computer Model : Toshiba Satellite A305 Type1Family Serial Number : ********* Mainboard : Intel Base Board Product Name Serial Number : Base Board S************ BIOS : INSYDE 1.50 06/27/2008 Total Memory : 4GB DDR2 SO-DIMM Processors Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5750 @ 2.00GHz (2C 2GHz, 2MB L2) Socket/Slot : FC µPGA (Socket P) Chipset Memory Controller : Toshiba Mobile PM965/GM965/GL960 Express Processor to DRAM Controller 4x 166MHz (664MHz), 2x 2GB DDR2 SO-DIMM 664MHz 128-bit, Integrated Graphics Memory Module(s) Memory Module : Hynix (Hyundai) HYMP125S64CP8-Y5 2GB DDR2 SO-DIMM PC2-5300U DDR2-666 (5-5-5-15 3-20-5-3) Memory Module : Hynix (Hyundai) HYMP125S64CP8-Y5 2GB DDR2 SO-DIMM PC2-5300U DDR2-666 (5-5-5-15 3-20-5-3) Video System Monitor/Panel : Samsung Generic PnP Monitor (1600x1200, 154AT07-T01 , 15.4") Video Adapter : Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family (8SP SM4.0 500MHz, 64MB DDR2 128-bit, Integrated Graphics) Graphics Processor Storage Devices HGST Hitachi HTS543232L9SA00 (320.1GB, SATA150, 2.5", 5400rpm, 7MB Cache) : 298GB (C:) PIONEER DVD-RW DVRKD08L (ATA33, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 64kB Cache) : N/A (D:) Logical Storage Devices Drive (C:) : 297GB (NTFS, 4kB) @ HGST Hitachi HTS543232L9SA00 (320.1GB, SATA150, 2.5", 5400rpm, 7MB Cache) TOSHIBA SYSTEM VOLUME : 1GB (NTFS, 4kB) @ HGST Hitachi HTS543232L9SA00 (320.1GB, SATA150, 2.5", 5400rpm, 7MB Cache) Optical Drive (D:) : N/A @ PIONEER DVD-RW DVRKD08L (ATA33, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 64kB Cache) Peripherals LPC Hub Controller 1 : Toshiba ICH8M-E (ICH8) LPC Interface Controller Audio Device : Toshiba 82801H (ICH8) HD Audio Controller Audio Codec : Realtek Semi High Definition Audio Disk Controller : Toshiba 82801H (ICH8) Ultra ATA Storage Controllers Disk Controller : Toshiba Mobile SATA AHCI Controller Disk Controller : Toshiba SD Bus Host Adapter USB Controller 1 : Toshiba 82801H (ICH8) USB UHCI #4 USB Controller 2 : Toshiba 82801H (ICH8) USB UHCI #5 USB Controller 3 : Toshiba 82801H (ICH8) USB2 EHCI #2 USB Controller 4 : Toshiba 82801H (ICH8) USB UHCI #1 USB Controller 5 : Toshiba 82801H (ICH8) USB UHCI #2 USB Controller 6 : Toshiba 82801H (ICH8) USB UHCI #3 USB Controller 7 : Toshiba 82801H (ICH8) USB2 EHCI #1 FireWire/1394 Controller 1 : Toshiba R5C832 IEEE-1394 Controller SMBus/i2c Controller 1 : Intel ICH SMBus Printers and Faxes Printer : Microsoft XPS Document Writer (600x600, Colour) Printer : HP ENVY 5660 series (600x600, Colour) Fax : Microsoft Shared Fax Driver (200x200) Scanners and Cameras Scanner : Hewlett-Packard HP ENVY 5660 series (NET) (Scanner, USB) Network Services Network Adapter : Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller (Ethernet) Wireless Adapter : Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN (802.11g (ERP), AES-CCMP, 144Mbps) Power Management Battery No 1 : PA3535U-1BAS 81.42Wh/6.60Ah Operating System Windows System : Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 6.01.7601 (Service Pack 1) Platform Compliance : x64
  4. I just installed Launchbox 6.2 on a Win7 Pro laptop and takes 30 to 45 seconds for init windows to come up which is no big deal, but it then hangs on "initializing" and the task manager shows it is not responding. Any ideas? Thank you! Jim
