  1. Oh, that's it? I guess that's easy enough, although I never would have guessed this would be the solution. Somehow I thought just adding additional apps and naming them was enough, as I still think it should be... But oh well, if this is what it takes, I can live with that. Thanks a bunch!
  2. Hi all, Something's been bugging me for a while now, and I have no idea how to fix this (admittedly small) issue in Launchbox. The icon for 'multiple versions' doesn't show up next to any games that have, in fact, multiple versions in my collection. In the images included with this post, it shows Contra III for SNES. This game comes in three versions in my collection: 1) the original version, 2) the hack that makes the game easier and 3) the PAL-version (Super Probotector). There are numerous instances where I have added such 'additional apps' in the form of hacks, translations, versions from different regions etc. of a particular game. Yet the icon with the purple/pink tiles that signifies multiple versions doesn't show up anywhere. There is one exeption to this: My MAME collection (that I imported using the wizard) actually does show the different version icons where applicable (i.e. Asia, Brazil, Europe, USA, Japan versions etc.) Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Should I do something different other than use the 'additional apps' option? Any help would be much appreciated!
  3. Thanks to the team behind Launchbox, Emumovies, some helpful posts on this forum, several subreddits and Youtube tutorials, I have managed to basically finish my Big Box configuration. I'm posting a video just to share and thank the community for their help (Most of the time, I just googled and found out that my question had already been answered at some point, here or elsewhere). This is a custom theme that uses the 16:9 Nostalgia videos for the platforms and playlists. For the game details screen, I have used assets from the CleanBG theme. I changed the font by messing around in the xml files. It's basic and clean, without too much stuff going on. It provides plenty of information though. I really love that it is somewhat 'historically correct' and shows the systems and games in the proper context. Well, except for some custom box art that didn't exist at the time. Since uploading this video, I have added separate Satellaview and Famicom Disk System categories, and added some more games. Anyway, thank you for being a great community!
