    Okay, so I don't really understand how. But that fixed my issue. I did NOT have startup screens enabled. After enabling them I don't have the double emulator double instance anymore with keyboard or control panel. Thanks so much for the help! If you know why it was doing that I'd be interested to understand the why.

    This happens during bigbox or launchbox. Both exhibit the same problems. Not sure what you mean by startup screens. It's a stock launchbox application install I haven't changed much at all.
