I have a strange issue where lauchbox refuses to find metadata for the game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. As soon as I hit the search metadata button it immediately pops up the message that says "No games were found with the specified title." The game is in the database and I've tried renaming it several different ways with no luck. I've also tried deleting it then importing again and I know it found metadata for that game before but at some point it just stopped finding it and its the only game I have that has that issue. Whats causing that, is there a fix for it?

Well after fiddling with TextGamesView file all day yesterday finally got it right thank you for all your help.

Launchbox seems to be causing an issue with dosbox when I try to play a dos game, its making my mouse move around by itself, the game is a first person shooter. tried turning off my mouse and controller and the issue stopped but i cant fully play it like that. Then I tried launching the game normally without launchbox and it works fine. So I'm sure launchbox is the cause is there a fix for this issue?

Well nevermind i just had to remove the video path in each game

Just noticed a strange problem where big box wont display some screenshot images for steam but they show in launchbox. They are all the same size and format (jpg). is there a way to fix this? Its only some of the screenshots and just for that platform.

Yes it looks like there is......in launchbox select platform categories on the left side then right click each group and click edit you'll see an option for video you can add audio files there.

I know there's an option to draw white borders around box art in launchbox mode, but it does'nt do it in big box mode is there a way to do this?

In normal launchbox mode you open tools menu then manage platforms then open the platform and you'll see video at the bottom you can choose music files or video files

Oh, I figured it out I just had to select a custom configuration file.

Well, I noticed it will choose the wrong file in the game directory. Some games have a exe file. If I switch to those it works but theres still some games that won't run at all.

Hello, I have a program called d-fend reloaded that came with tons of dos games preinstalled in a virtual hd folder and added them to launchbox through the import dos games settings. Most of the games work fine but some games won't even launch, It launches the dosbox window then closes out. Is there a way to make them launch?

Well I figured it out didnt relize you could select music files in the platform settings.
