The Bezel Project is a magnificent software that allows us to add Bezels in Retroarch.
With Mame (Anrcade) there are no problems because the name of the game file is the same for everyone, so the bezels are perfectly recognized, whereas instead of the console side, the problem is that if the name of the game file is not identical to the one The Bezel project set in the "CONFIG" folder in retroarch, the bezel will not be recognized.
So, considering that with Launchbox many of us have already fixed the name of the game files with Launcbox metadata so as to obtain covers, mp3s etc. would it be possible to use this metadata in a universal way so as to also get the bezels?
Also because The Bezel Project can generate some limits in retroarch as I explained previously.
So in case of problems, a universal metadata could always help us to fix everything again without doing a long manual job to make the bezel coincide with the games.

It's the limit of the bezel project who not's scan our roms who doesn't have the same name. So now I have to rename and i'ts very very long just for one system like nes.

Example: double dragon (USA).zip and double dragon (Europe).zip

@salyangel I have heard of that issue before, but it seems to be most likely a Rocket Launcher configuration issue of some kind. Window focus is handled by Windows itself and there's nothing I can put in the code to make Big Box "steal" focus (Microsoft got rid of this stuff for security and annoyance reasons), so we have to rely on Windows to handle it properly. It sounds like something in the Rocket Launcher process is just interfering with it. I wish I could do something to force focus back on Big Box, but unfortunately I don't think there's any good way to do that (without resorting to bad practices at least).

I find the solution, I have delete my profile of hyperspin because I used hyperspin before.

And I keep juste one profile on joytokey and it's work :)

  4. for user of Rocketlauncher the exit game need to click with my mouse to restore bigbox...on 6.2 it was good. it's from the swtiching profile of joytokey by rocketlauncher.

when the option is disable everything is fine...I still use rocketlauncher for manage mapping profile by system...

  5. I use Critical zone theme because it's easy to create a new system.

@Jason Carr  I still having the same issue since you added in the faster startup time of BigBox. The issue I am having is right after startup of BigBox if I scroll to my MAME platform on the wheel it will not even let me press enter to enter into the platform or show the mame video until BB has been running for about 5 to 6 seconds like it is still parsing through the mame xml after startup and then everything starts working normal. Again this only happens with the mame platform upon startup. On another note everything works fine in BigBox default view. I noticed this happens in the more graphic intensive themes like CriticalZone and even more so with Futurestate. My CPU is no slouch as it is a i5 4690K GTX970 with, 16GB Ram so it should handle it with ease. The main differences I notice between those themes and the default theme that make them more intensive is the added background video but if if I remove that, it still performs the same.

I wonder why everything works normal in the default theme?I bet you being the code jedi master could put or reccomend some optimizations in the more popular graphic intensive themes especially since CriticalZone comes packaged with BigBox now?;)

I have the same problem like you. i5 gtx 750 8GB, but on beta 19 it was fixed.

I don't believe anything changed recently that should affect Rocket Launcher or focusing the window. I could be wrong, of course, but maybe it's something with the Rocket Launcher configuration?

I find the problem coming from the switching mapping in Rocket Launcher. I find a solution...I format win7 and go to win 10 and it's work :)

@salyangel I'm also using RL so I just did a quick test this morning before going to work but in my case, when I exit the an arcade game which was launched using RL, the focus is returned to BB. Let me know if you want to compare settings.

BTW. this test was done using 70-beta-28

yes please, I use joytokey with Rocket.

  9. 7.0 for Xmas yes :) resolve for me more and more faster!

juste little bug when we use Rocketlauncher since beta 20 and more...

"exit" game bigbox don't restore. Choose any option from Rocket don't resolve the exit game (I'm using beta 27) I have to use my mouse to come back to the bigbox.

@Jason Carr I just noticed a new issue after the newest beta and its a strange one. If I immediately scroll to the Arcade/MAME platform after BigBox starts up, MAME video will not even startup while on the wheel and I cannot even press enter to enter the MAME platform until Bigbox has been running for about 5 to 6 seconds after startup, then the mame video finally starts and I can press enter to go into the games view. This only happens upon startup and does not happen once you are in BigBox as everything works normal. Is this because Mame has more games than any of my other platforms and it is still parsing the xml even after startup? I can go into any of my other platforms immediately after startup, it only seems to affect Mame. I have about 2800 games in my MAME platform which is the same before the newest beta.

I have the same problem on my arcade system with 2790 games. Very slow when I change the letter.
