Sorry if this has been asked before, I performed a couple of searches and didn't see anything. So, here's what I am trying to do. For the PS1 games there are some that have "greatest hits" boxes but I would rather have the non "greatest hits" displayed and yet I want to keep a copy of the GH box for posterity. The thing is, since both boxes fall under the "3D Boxes" category, when LB loads, it sometimes shows me the GH box instead of the normal. What I want to do is create an image category called something like "3D Boxes - GH" that I can label it as and then put that image category as a lower priority under the "3D Boxes" section so it will load the non GH box first. I've tried renaming the files so that the box I'd prefer is -01 and the GH box is -02 but it still just randomly loads one or the other. I also know I can just classify the image as something unused by PS1 games like "Arcade - Flyer", and I'll do so if that's the only option, but for organizational reasons (and for the health of my slightly OCD brain), I'd rather be able to do the "3D Boxes - GH" custom image category.

Just snagged the newest beta and can confirm, Steamy is once again loading media for every title! Thanks for fixing it!

Would a video clip of the issue happening help? Dunno if watching this might clue you into what's happening or not but here ya go! lol As you can see, I can click on the first game, no media, second game, media loads, third game, no media, back to first game that wouldn't load media and there it is. Latest version of Steamy for me says 1.5 and that's what I have installed. I did a repair, no change. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue.

Tried on the latest stable and latest beta (as of yesterday). Currently running in list view.

Also, just tried a fresh install on my machine into a different directory, added Steamy and some games/media, same issue. Tried it on 2 other machines (my wife's gaming rig and a gaming laptop) and also had the same issue. Media will load for every other game selected.

Well sadly I haven't had much time in recent weeks to play with it so I fired up LB for the first time in a while, it updated to the latest stable build then to the newest beta build, and I'm still having the same issue with Steamy only loading the media for "every other game" selected. Since it doesn't appear to be happening on anyone else's setup, is there some kind of settings file I can delete/reset to see if it's just a janky switch that got flipped somewhere? As long as I don't lose my libraries/platforms I'm good with setting everything else back up.

I'm really curious what it ends up being. If screenshots of my settings or any config files would help out let me know and I'll be happy to upload them. If nothing else, I will continue to use Omni using the changes you suggested. The only thing I can't seem to get right with the Omni config is that after selecting a game, the movie clip pops up but the window is loads in is cut off at the bottom. Also, to the right of the video it has the game stats (type of game, player count, etc) but I'd like to change it to have the game description. Is there anything that can be modified in the settings of the theme to accomplish these tweaks or would it require deeper modification to the theme itself?

Thanks! Sadly, Beta 2 did not resolve the issue. I was able to get Omni configured per your suggestions however it's just not the same, lol. I mean it's close but by default the video snap is cut off at the bottom and I liked having the game description/summary show up where the game stats load in Omni. Any other thoughts on what might be causing this? If it's an issue specific to me, is there anything else I can try to remedy it?

In the mean time, you had mentioned that Omni can be adjusted to mimic Steamy "mostly". Do you happen to have a screenshot of the settings I would need to change to accomplish this?

Sure thing! If I need to turn something off to match yours let me know and I'll try it out but I haven't messed with these settings so it should be default.

Also, if I switch the view to "Images View" and change games, the media loads and plays just fine. I switch back to "List View" and it's back to only loading the media pane every other game.

13.21, if it's not a universal issue, I wonder what's causing it on mine? I switched to 4 other themes just to make sure and this is the only theme it happens on. I've manually uninstalled and reinstalled it as well as tried a "repair" which I know just does the same thing but figured it was worth a shot.
