Wanted to followup, I was able to get it working. I copied the fixed arcade.xml file into the launchbox/data/platform/ folder. Previously I have put it in the launchbox/data folder. It is a little confusing the files are in 2 locations. Thank for the help, now we are up and running

How to I get to the part to import the games? Launchbox program does not continue after this error message, it exits

it appears that your launchbox\data\arcade.xml file is corrupt. Launchbox cannot contimue. Please try restoring a backup of the file from the backups folder inside your launchbox root flolder Root element is missing.. Please tell me how to fix this?

try setting trackball_device to mouse in the ini

I had the same problem, move the ini to the mame\ini\presets\ directory or whereever the ini ini is set to in mame.ini. Mine was set to mame\ini\presets

IS there any way to set a delay between accepting button input? Here is the deal, if I am on a screen, let's say game preview and I hit the back button (which is a button on the ipac), it always takes me back 2 screens (the emulator selection wheel) instead of one screen (the game selection list). Anyway to remedy this?

I am using MAME and escape is esc (pressing the 1 player and 2 player buttons at the same time on the ipac)

I have a game on my favorite list (track and field) that disappeared from the favorites (the games that show at the beginning of the game list). When I do a search and find it, it still shows it as a favorite. I only have like 10 games on the favorite list. Also when I look through all games I do not see this game in the "T"'s, I can only find it by searching. Also some of the games are out of place on the games list (not in alphabetical order). Anyway to correct this?

Freeze, I cannot get the Windows start menu to respond and need to reboot. This happens coming out of sleep but the crashing happens randomly. Also yesterday when selecting a game while it was in attract mode, the music from the attract mode game being shown would not stop and played over top of the game we tried to play

When computer comes out of sleep running big box, BB freezes and I have to restart the computer. When I am in a mame game and press 1 player and 2 player buttons at the same time to exit the game, it does not just go to the screen for that game where you can choose if you want to play the game, play the video etc... It jumps back to the main screen with the emulator selection wheel. Any way to get it to only go back one screen? Also BB crashes daily with the generic windows error message "the program stopped responding... Check online for solution?"

Using primarily for MAME games. Is there any way to make all the games have the same volume when playing?
