Nemmind - solved it. For some reason the RA password in LB settings had chosen to delete itself. Another LB peccadillo met and ingratiated.

EDIT: DO NOT DOWNLAOD NOX PLAYER - IT'S JUST AS BAD (DOWNLOADED MCAFFEE WITHOUT ASKING AND CANNOT UNINSTALL). GOD THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THESE EMUS REALLY SHOULD BE SHOT.

OK. Solved it. Download this:
3RVX
Set is as a startup application with bigbox
Go into 3RVX's settings and set hotkeys for vol up and down to those on your cab. Bingo.
