And once again, I was a doofus. Once I backed out the the main options menu after selecting the rompath, you could save the configuration. Problem fixed and it works in my launchbox now

So I was able to set the rompath in the config folder. Games still would not boot. I went through the options once hbmame was open and manually set the rompath to my roms folder and everything worked perfect. Every time I exit out of hbmame, it forgets where the rompath is and I have to manually set it up through the config options in the app. How can I get it to save the rompath?

I have hbmame roms and matching hbmame .exe, when I click the ini folder, it shows a ui icon. When I go into it on notepad, it doesn't clearly say rompath like mame did? Could someone steer me in the right direction to set up HBMAME? Thank you
