    I have only managed to get this setup to work with mame and sega model 2 and 3.  PCSX2 you hasve to use the nuvee plugin which i just thought didnt work well and is one player only.  not managed to get it working on anything else yet !  Worth a try though

     

  2. Hi guys, im using a virtual pin and Ive setup LB with a few emulators. Its a 2 screen setup.  Screen 1 (in windows) is the main playfield screen and screen 2 is the backglass screen.  These numbers are predefined by windows depending on the monitor inputs used on the GPU.  Ideally I dont want to change them.

    So the problem is LB is opening games on the playfileld screen (monitor 1) and not monitor 2.  I want all games to open on monitor 2.  Im assuming the best way to do this is to use an AHK script to force the opening emulator to move to monitor 2.  

    Is there a genius out there that could help with that?

  3. Using bigbox unified theme.  Where can i download the video backgrounds for playlists like MARIO, STREETFIGHTER etc?

    I have emu movies paid account but cannot for the life of me work out where to get the video and wheel image from, any help please?

  4. H everyone.  I have just managed to setup, with a great deal of help from member Tomkun (much respect), wiimotes, dolphin bar and Mame for light gun games.  Everything works great.   

    Using the wiimotes relies on a windows programme being open called TOUCMOTE.   At the moment it opens with windows.  The problem is if i want to play dolphin emulator games using the wiimotes havig Touchmote open seems to cause some conflicts with the wii controllers.  

    It would great if i could have a script to open and terminate touchmote when Mame is run....... is that even possible with LB?

  5. JUst for the purposes of ensuring anyone else reading this in the future avoids my school boy error!    Player 1 gun works perfect with Tomkun's settings.  However i just could not get P2 working.  Then I realised why!

    I had 2 profiles in Touchmote, player 1 was switched to Tom's 'zapper' settings, however I didnt realise you had to do that for both controllers!  Held home button wii mote for 3 secoinds and selected zapper.  Now both guns work! 

    Thank you Tomkun, amazing assistance you have provided me with over the last few days, cant thank you enough.

    Now just to work out how i make the zapper profile the default.  ALso still have some reboots to do to ensure it remembers P2 gun settings :)

    As long as you make sure that the IR pointer controls the left stick and the trigger is "A" it should work. You can set the other buttons as you wish. I like to have the Wiimote's A button as "Start", but that's just preference. The "2" button there was to work with another game, with unconfigurable start buttons. It doesn't affect MAME at all.

    Thanks Tomkun.  Im fine with messing about the with touchmote setup for player 2.  however do i then need to edit your controller config file to match my changes in touchmote?

  7. Sorry attached images are not in order.  Various pics of my setup.  

    Player 1 light gun seems fine.

    Player 2 is an issue.  Noted that in the windows game controller configuration, when i moved player 1 wimote it was showing me the crosshair moving in a box correctly.  However player 2 wiimote does not move the little cross hair plus sign, instead Z axis moves.  Also no buttons are mapped on player 2 wii mote. - which would obviosuly explain why its not working in mame ! 

    Any advice on how to check config of player 2 wiimote Tom?

    Hi Tomkun.  I deleted all other config files in mame, inc all the default ones, so the only config file is your controller file.

    The good news is the games are fine with player 1 wiimote.  Home button adds credit, A button starts a game and trigger works fine.

    Player 2 doesnt work though.  

    Would you mind if I posted some screenshots of the various settings I now have to see if you can compare to yours for me?

    Lightgun X  is not right, the Y is correct.  I can change it obviously but i assume mame will loose whatever i put in there

    You shouldn't need to configure any controls in Mame at all. You might need to configure touchmote though. I'll send you my Touchmote zapper config in about 10 minutes. 

    ok !  thank you.  Im missing something becuause ive just restarted Mame (having just configured it) and started lethal enforcers for first time and its forgotten X and Y axis settings for both and also player 1 button 1 and 2 . :(

    The cfg file I sent you should work for all lightgun/positional gun games by default. There should be no per-game configuration necessary except for edge-cases with weird control schemes. TIme Crisis springs to mind as it requires the pedal. If you have configured the games individually, perhaps try deleting their config files (back them up of course!) and try again with just my config.

    ok thanks Tom I will try deletng the individual config files created there are only a few.  But surely i will still need to tell mame that the trigger on my wiimote (as an example) i mapped to button A ??

  13. With help from everyone on this thread, in particular Tomkun I have managed to setup a couple of 2 player light gun games using mame and so far after several reboots it seems that mame has kept my settings so far !    So thats great news.  Thank you.

    The problem im having now is that its quite a long hard job setting up the gun controls for 2 guns for each light gun game - about 50 or so in this mame set i have that work.  

    If I launch a game i can configured the individual machine and it saves, but if i configure all then it seems to loose some of the buttons assignments (in particular the X and Y axis settings for both guns).  

    not sure if im doing anything wrong !?!?!
