atari adam

Hey, everyone! I'm new to Launchbox. Just bought a premium license and I am working on the tedious task of setting up my systems. I used retroarch (stella core) for my Atari 2600 emulator (following the YouTube guide) and can't figure out how to emulate the paddle controllers for the games that require them. I use a wireless XBox 360 controller. Am I missing something? Is there a way to emulate those controllers in retroarch, or if not is there a better emulator to use? I know most games use the joysticks but I'd like to be able to play them all. Any advice would be appreciated.
