All mine are zipped, basically from a full Mame romset.

I have had these games (Naomi, Sammy, etc ...) in my mame folder, but launcbox never made me the lists. LB only makes me the typical lists of classics, capcom, konami, etc.
That's why I had to separate Naomi, Hikaru, Sammy, etc. in separate folders and create them manually.
I'm going to try to put the files of each game of sammy in a rar or to download another rom set from somewhere that is different from this one and try.

Directly in Demul the Sammy games run ok?

Yes, using the emulator everything runs ok. The only fault is when LB calls demul to run Sammy's games. I do not know if to try another set of roms in case the format of these is the one that gives the failure.

I have the games in this format ...

Did you set your path for your Atomiswave roms in Demul? If they are in a unique folder from Naomi and the others you have to set the path as well.

Yes, check the routes after my failure with supermodel. The routes in demul are ok. I have separated by folders the roms of naomi, hikaru, sammy etc ...

For Supermodel do your games run directly in the emulator? There is an option to set the rom path for Supermodel games. Did you set the path?

Also on Demul I have both boxes checked. I was incorrect in my last post.

    Hi,

Fix the problem with supermodel. If it was the wrong path of the roms folder. Thanks !
With resection to demul and Sammy I remain the same. Only the game selection window opens. From there once the juice is chosen, from that window it starts.
I have tried another demul version and it gives me the same error. And this only happens to me with Sammy. So naomi, hikaru, etc ... works well from LB.

For Supermodel the problem is you are pointing to the Supermodel-UI.exe you need to point to Supermodel.exe (there should be 2 exe files in your supermodel folder).

For Sammy I do not see anything obviously wrong in your images. The command line parameter looks right. The only thing different in my set-up is I do not have the box checked for "Use file name only without file extension...". Although if you are able to run Naomi and the others with it checked than Sammy should work. Try unchecking it and see if it makes a different. Can you run the Sammy games directly in Demul?

    Hi,

I have followed your directions and:

    - for demul and sammy there are no changes. Keep launching the emulator screen to manually choose the game.

    - for supermodel, if I choose the other exe. nothing happens. The game is not launched.

  6. Hi guys, I need help with these 2 platforms.

Use demul to emulate naomi and cia ... and I'm perfect except with sammy. When launching the game from launchbox / bigbox does not launch the game, it launches the game selection screen of the emulator itself.

The same problem happens to me with the sega model 3 emulator (supermodel). I have tried to use both the .exe and the graphical option UI. And I get the same result.
I leave some images of my settings so you can help me in what is wrong.

    Thanks guys.

It doesn't look like they offer drivers, either, so for your hardware, what type of sound do you have?  Motherboard?  or USB?  I updated the USB drivers for my motherboard recently and it reset some of my sound card stuff, even though my sound card is PCI, so you might want to check on things related to your sound hardware and USB.

I use a sound card integrated in the board and I have all the drivers updated to date.
It is that it is something strange that causes me that error

Hey camboico, did they give you drivers for the stick?  If so, do you have the same problems if you uninstall the drivers and plug the stick in?

I also thought about that, but do not need drivers. It's plug and play.

That's weird one, I have never seen a controller cause performance or sound issues in any software.

The stick is the trigger. I have a lot of time playing with an xbox game pad and 0 problems, but it is connecting the arcade stick and both MAME and Demul give sound errors.

  10. Hi guys,

I need some help. I have recently received this arcade stick https://www.kromgaming.com/en/controllers/kumite .

After connecting it to the PC and using it with Mame and Demul, I do not know what is the reason why the sound in the games is choppy or has some delay.

Changing a bit the options in MAME how to disable triple buffer or try to change some advanced options in the performance menu but I notice some loss of graphic fluency ... I have managed to solve the problem, but with demul it is impossible to configure anything to solve this problem.
I tried to get in touch with the SAT of the manufacturer and his answer was "it's not our product's problem".

Any idea how I can do something to configure the emulators optimally so they do not give sound failures?

P.D: I have a powerful PC, so it's not because of performance issues.

  11. Yes, I mean that ... That with demul I'm going to find fewer problems when it comes to compatibility with the number of games.

if the idea of centralizing all emulation in retroarch, is for the use of shaders and avoid having to configure a different emulator for each platform.

Once again I thank you for your response

  12. Thanks for answering, it's not too late ...
I never got to know why I was giving that error when I finished the decompression. Try changing the routes and places of files, other versions of dolphin ... and nothing.
In the end, dismiss the self-decompression and do it manually.

oh well that is sort of my fault as I don't think the Yabause core supports chd files in RA (but not sure on that as I don't like or use Yabause) I know that the mednafen Satrun core in RA definitely does support them though so if you try them with that core and they don't work then I have no clue what the issue would be.

    Hi,

I have been testing with yabause, YabaSanshiro and with the 2 cores of retroarch, yabuse and mednafen, and there is no way ...

For some strange reason the saturn isos must be in iso / cue / bin format to be able to be released...

    Thanks for the help.

for PSX DC and Saturn you might want to consider converting your games to chd instead of rar chd is a pretty good space saver and it is playable in Retroarch for most cd based cores. MAME comes with a tool named CHDman.exe that will convert them you will probably have to unrar them 1st though.

    Hello, thanks for answering.

I tried to do what you advise me with the saturn games and I get the same result.
Neither in chd format, directly with bin and cue files, nor with the chd inside a container rar achieved that retroarch or yabause read the game.

  15. Hi guys, I need some help.

I've been several days trying to save some space on my hdd. I have converted my isos from psx, ps2, gamecube, wii, dremcast, etc ... to rar format. Thanks to the launchbox option, extract ROM before starting, I have not had problems except with sega saturn. I have tried from the retroarch cores as with yabause and YabaSanshiro (-a, -i) ... and none launch the saturn games.

Is there any way to do it or can they only be released in iso format?

    Thanks.

  16. Hello,
    Thanks for answering.

In the Dolphin emulator configuration I have -e and -b ... as I had it until 2 or 3 weeks ago. I do not find the reason why nNasos decompresses well but then at the time of having to launch Dolphin this gives me error.
I have the same configuration that was working correctly until changing my pc ... except for the change in the routes of the roms and isos.

  17. Hi, someone can help me please?

Until a few days ago I was using nNasos with a script to be able to launch my compressed games of cube and wii in dolphin. Is this...

I have been using this method for several months without problems ... but recently I have switched from PC to another more powerful one. I am configuring again launchbox and all the emulators and now nNasos is giving me this error coming from Dolphin. The script seems to work fine and even decompress the iso well but when you have to launch dolphin, it does not start and I get an error.
I have tried to change the dolphin version and even use its Ishiiruka version ... and the same error keeps coming up constantly.

P.D: post this here because the creator of the post of this script with nNASOS seems to give no sign of life.

    Thanks
