Holy crap thx so much! 😂 Man, now big box or Lbox is awesome with my homemade cabinet! Now if I can figure out how to make mame with HLSL stick in lbox as well then I'll be set!

I'll check when I get home, where will I find that? And if so, what do I change it too? LB would be great for us here if I can get that mame to load with those saved settings. Thx for you time!

Hey guys, when I run LB my roms(mame) are so pixelated. When I run roms direct from mame i get a real nice quality of picture. When booting mame directly, I do see the video options such as hls etc. When I run from LB, the pixelation is so bad. Obviously, I have lbox opening my rom with the version of mame that works great(when not opening from lbox) make sense? And ideas? If tough to see but in real person it's bad.. 1st pic is when i open mame directly, 2nd is in lbox.

Hey guys, is there actually an actual full mame rom set with all roms, bioses, chds, STDs, whatever is needed to get the set to play? I've tried a few old sets and the success rate is brutal. Also, is there new sets available? Or is it best to just go with an old pack with that corresponding emulator and just say that's as good as it gets? I see there are sites with the latest mame and roms but have to dl one at a time, any way to get the whole thing? If a guy does one rom at a time, I know they're is going to be "missing. Dll and file errors" like crazy. Thx for any info guys.

Hey guys, I'm tired of having so many games not working with 4 GB ROM packs. I'm going to go and get the. 0151 romset which is around 40 gb. So, the big question, this mean that the majority of these roms are going to work now? Gonna take awhile so just checking for your thoughts. Thx.

Launchbox works great on my pc. Just brutal on android. I'll suck up the little $ i spent, no big deal, just LB is my favorite front end by far. Could take awhile to post my whole install. It's pretty basic, have a mame rom pack that plays in retroarch using mame 2003 plus emulator. I tell lb what folder and what emulator to use. No go. 😂 Don't know what else to say. I'll check what error it gives, it usually just opens up a blank screen of retroarch.

Hey guys, I've been trying to put in my own emulator for my mame rom set. Crazy, just can't get it to play. My set plays outside of launchbox but won't play in it. Paid for licence but man is it ever difficult to get this to work.

Hey guys, is there a rom pack version that will be recognised by LB for my nvidia Shield? On my pc I have that figured but on my mobile I can't get any mame roms to play. Can I get lbox to take mame4droid as an emulator because I have a romset that plays flawless in that emulator on my Samsung

I have the backup folder and just not sure how to back up. I copied all the files back to my LB folder but still get the error. I'll just be ok with having to do a full re install i guess but i have tried it and still the same error.

Yes, just missing file errors. Only in LB though. Most of the roms are working but that is one example. Seems odd, I'll have to k at my settings again tomorrow and see if I had made an error. I have a mameui.ini file located in the same folder as the full mameui64 folder. That's the romset and mame that I have.

So, I can play my rom in the mameui interface no problem. In LB I will get errors. I followed a tutorial and don't know what tweak it could possibly be. If I can fix this, it may just fix issues with other games too. I haven't had much time to try all the others but this is a perfect example. Any ideas on what to try?

Hi, does my older version of mame (with its working romset) get updated automatically through LB? I just want to keep my version that plays my romset and don't want any of the new stuff. Also side question, I paid for BBox last year... Anyway I can use it again without repaying? (new pc and I've been too busy to setup for almost a year) ?

Holy crap, thanks guys, so much better, did a full ctrl A and then E and got all the roms working with the new cmd version of mame. All seems great, of course few roms seem to be missing some info but whatever. On to big box mode. thanks.

I done see any mame.ini file at all. I never used mameui until now as it actually plays my over 2000 plus roms and my mame64 played only a few hundred from them. I will just use LB for what works for me now, and the roms i really wanted to work i will just open Mameui and play from there. Just really wanted a nicefront end. But i'm gonna try the Premium version, i think the frontend will look great. Thx for your help.

So, i can play many of my rom sets within mame32, but in get missing files and errors within lb, any ideas why? I have lb set up with the mame32 version that works excellent when independant of LB.

Ok. Do I have to create a Mame. Ini file? I have no idea where it is. I can not open mame to get into configuration. When I click my Mame exe it just gives me a notepad with instructions. In cmd I don't know how to open the Mame cmd.
