  1. I'm attempting to use Retroarch to play light gun games but I'm having an issue with the light gun cursor bouncing all over the screen. The light gun works fine in Windows and this only appears to be the issue when trying to play a game such as Area 51 or Lethal Enforcers. For reference I have the AIMTrak light gun. If anyone has this light gun working in Retroarch I'd love to hear how you got it to work. Thank you!
  2. I recently extracted my compressed roms (.7z, .zip, etc.) to their native extensions and now none of my ROMS will launch without me going in and manually selecting the correct file (uncompressed extension) or by deleting the entire platform and re-importing the ROMs from scratch. With 30+ platforms and 55K+ ROMs this would take forever. Is there any easier way to tell LB what extension to look for with each platform? Thank you!
  3. Okay, thanks guys. I was able to get the trackball working via Mame directly so that will have to sufface for now. There's only a few trackball games I use anyway so it shouldn't be that big of a nuisance. Thanks again!
  4. I ended up getting the trackball to work per your instructions via the Mame executable directly which is great but do you know if there's a way to get this working via LB when using RetroArch? When I launch the game via LB the trackball simply acts as a mouse and the game doesn't recognize it for some reason. Thanks again!
  5. I'll search for the file and report back once I do. Thanks for all the help.
  6. Thanks for the quick response Lordmonkus. I am using Mame64 and don't have a mame.ini file. What version of mame would you recommend for use via LB? Retroarch is using the mame arcade core for most of my arcade games.
  7. I've setup the trackball to be detected in Windows and LB, however when I launch any games that use the trackball such as Golden Tee, Centipede, etc. the trackball doesn't work. I'm able to move it around as a mouse but that's about it. I'm sure this is a pretty simple setup, however I have not been able to figure it out. I'm using Retroarch for most of my games. Any help would be incredibly helpful. Thank you in advance!
  8. That was it! Thank you! On another note, should I put the bios files in the same directory as the roms, too?
  9. Noob here. Just started with Launchbox and I'm loving it so far including the Big Box mode, however I'm having some issues with using the Mame core via Retroarch for my current Mame rom set (0.189). Perhaps it's because the core's not updated yet to support the current version of the rom set but I'm finding several games are failing when attempting to launch them or rather I'm receiving an error in Windows and then it crashes back to Launchbox. This doesn't happen with all games which leads me to believe that perhaps the core is outdated? I tried to run some of my larger, newer games such as Killer Instinct which is where I'm encountering this issue. Perhaps I don't have the CHD files in the proper directory or it's truly something else having to do with my rom set. Any help is appreciated! Thank you and happy to be here!
