  1. Hiya I got the ftp artwork from Emu movies. How would you suggested I add it to launchbox. I know they have there folders for images but adding snaps and all the rest of it. What's your advice on the best way to do things
  2. As launchbox updates continously shouldnt the older videos be removed online on the how to do if they are no longer valid?
  3. I thought you had to add them still even with that added. Such a donut
  4. I thought with certain systems. You needed to add special parameters as the cps1 to 3 have tutorials. And mame. And Neo geo. I thought these were complex in the way you have to add them so I was gonna see if there is any others that require that. But if your saying just add them in they don't need no core lines added to work or anything. That's one less thing to worry about.
  5. Just wanted a list of how we should add them. Arcade (catagory) Neo geo (emulator name) Retroarch (emulator) And then the dll parameter line if the system needs a special command added. And default emulator (checkbox ticked). A list like that. what every system should be.
  6. I've got it listed under arcade. With the emulator name as neo geo and I use retro arch as the emulator with fba2012 core. If I have explained it better now
  7. I think so. Neo geo as arcade. And Neo geo as emulator name. But runs retroarch as emulator and fba12 core in special parameters. Alot of people might not of got it working because you needed to add a paramatre line to the core for it work. You saying that methods obsolete now and I don't need to do it
  8. Hello All. I have a question. I just wanted to know if there is a default line parameters list for the retroarch cores available. I been on YouTube lately and watched ETA primes videos. And launchboxes. But primes video set me up with how to do CPS1 to 3. After realising there all in mame anyway I deleted them. And have just done the NeoGeo. But if it wasn't for prime (I know I could of asked here) I would have never know to scrape NeoGeo under arcade. And add emulator name as NeoGeo. I would of done it as retroarch. And not have set it to the fba2012 core (with his txt file). Is it possible if anybody has time. Or could find the time do these special sets like this please. That require the emulator names to be set as the system its self. And the parameter lines for the cores. That would be so helpful. Half the time it's just unzipping the files adding them to games and it's done with a few clicks. But that NeoGeo was sneaky in how it had to be set. If we can have a list. I would really appreciate that. Certain systems are avoided because there quiet hard to do
  9. Or is editing paths in the launchbox xml files needed
  10. I zipped the launchbox folder with all the videos and images and roms inside. So they don't corrupt in the future. Ill just unzip to the new pc. Had the roms on my desktop at first. But changed the paths after. I just learned launchbox is portable. Thats why i was concerned about a hard drive faluire as i thought it installs in your pc. But launchbox installs into its own folder in the users folder. On c drive or were ever you set it to. The total was 250gb. Took 16hrs to zip with winrar. So in the future on any machine just change the roms and emulators paths? And it will work?
  11. I just have a question. Pc's can be unreliable at times. With windows giving updates and an error occurring or a internal hard drive death What would be your advice on the fastest way to recover all of the lost data. I went to zip the launchbox folder to have an archived zip. So no videos or artwork gets corrupted in the future (will take 5hrs to zip with winrar) all I'll do is unzip it and replace the folders. Any other good pointers and tips you could give in saving the set up time in the best possible way. Or did I answer my own question. How would you do it?
  12. Not The Neil diamond lol. A diamond
