  1. Really have no clue what causes this but doing only like 50 games or so works, doing that many at a time will be annoying though so if anyone has a solution I would love that.
  2. 17376 total games. Any configuration of the metadata downloader will crash upon completion. I've been doing a lot of testing.
  3. I think the issue might have to do with my library size. I can select to only download from a certain platform category and it works. But when I select all of my games it brushes over every game and crashes. I am currently downloading just for 2 player arcade games and it seems to be working. But It would be SUPER convenient if downloading for all my games worked.
  4. Here's the log, I don't even think it downloaded videos, meaning that maybe they somehow got deactivated? Debug 2021-06-11 09-20-08 PM.log
  5. I don't get any error, it just freezes and windows shuts it down when i choose to stop waiting, I'll turn on logs and go through the download process again. What I want to do is get video clips for my games in big box, instead it just shows the title screen. I am also paying for emumovies pro.
  6. Now when I try to use any configuration of the metadata downloader it crashes
  7. I want to update my metadata and only checked the stuff from emu movies for download. It takes a few minutes then sends back an error for a handful of videos that couldn't be downloaded. After selecting to keep the metadata despite the errors it goes through the "finishing up" process and windows detects that it isn't responding. Do I just have to wait a really long time for it to finish up and ignore the windows prompt or am I doing something wrong?
  8. Alrighty, I have enough space on other hard drives to do that so I sure will.
  9. Ok, do you know if this is going to be permanent? Because if there's no way for it to be patched I'll probably just go through the steps of reformatting however that's done without losing everything.
  10. Ok so it turns out that I have to do this EVERY TIME I boot launchbox. This is extremely annoying!! Now I'm no dev, but why was this implemented if it only works on some systems?
  11. Ok, I'll be on the look out for one of those!
  12. So if they don't work in mame what do they work in?
  13. When importing my Mame fullset I chose to create platform category playlists. When I click on Sega Model 2 there's only Virtua Fighter 2, Motor Raid Twin, and Rail Chase 2. I then used the search feature to see if things like daytona didn't make the playlist but nope. All the other model 2 games didn't get imported. What causes this and how do I fix it? are there more games in my romset that got left out too?
  14. Ok I did that and it works! I still have a few launchbox issues, but I'll address those in a new thread. Thank you so much for your help!
  15. Ok I tried that and nothing seemed to happen
  16. Launchbox version 11.11, Windows 10 Home, Samsung T5 Portable SSD, exFAT
  17. I've been updating my launchbox setup today and when I opened Big Box I constantly got these pop ups along with videos, and images not appearing. I have no clue what these errors mean.
  18. Thanks! I'm gonna give that a shot. What do i need to check if i just want games?
  19. I wanted to redo my Mame build in launchbox, upgrading from merged, to split. In doing so I unchecked every box like I did last year with the merged set. It turns out that it imported a bunch of hardware files that aren't games and don't have metadata (see photo). I want to get rid of these but deleting and re importing would take more than a day. If there's any solution to this please let me know. Thank you
  20. I've followed everything from the Naomi/Atomiswave video and launchbox won't import any other games besides Sushi Bar and the KoF games. I have all of the lst and bin files and I don't know what is happening here. If any one has a fix that would be greatly appreciated.
  21. Is there a way to use BigBox to play a real DVD or BluRay? Like, open up windows DVD player or VLC as a game, pop in a disc, watch it, then exit back to BigBox. I know people can watch mp4 rips of movies, but watching stuff from my collection on my arcade machine would be pretty cool and convenient for the man cave.
