Lord Kardok
As I'm sure most, if not all, gamers are aware, older games (before the PS3/Xbox360 generation) were often released in different countries at different times of the year, if not a different year entirely. Could the interface for adding values to the release date field be modified to include additional release dates? I'm already encountering the issue of whether to include the first release date of a game, or the release date of a specific region. For example: The JP release date of "Albert Odyssey: Legend of Eldean" is August 9, 1996 but the NA release date is July 24, 1997. There aren't major differences between the regions that warrant for two separate games being listed, or title differences, like Burning Heroes and Mysteria (which are both the same game, but one was released with a different title and box art prior to the other title, and for a collector they would consider it two different games entirely, much like Stadium Events and World Class Track Meet). If possible, include little flags to indicate where the release date corresponds to. The most common are: North America (NA), Japan (JP), Europe (EU), Brazil (BR)
SentaiBrad
Games are still released to other countries at different times sadly. Either way there is a ticket for this in the Games DB Database already. https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/issues/23/regional-names-dates-and-potentially
