Hunter25
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I've searched for ages but I can't find anything :( Basically I recently upgraded to Big Box (Which is great btw!) but I'm having problems with my Xbox One Wireless controller. Basically the controller will scroll through the menus really fast and is pretty much unusable for Big Box Menus. The controller works fine for steam and other emulators. Now I know windows 10 released an update back at the end of March that was meant to mess up the Xbox One controller, and a fix was to roll back to an old driver (tried that, still doesn't work with big box.) I can't even find any information on the state of the Xbox One Controller since the bad windows 10 update, I'm just assuming it's fixed now since it works with Steam ect. So Just wondering if I'm the only one that is having this problem using it in Big Box.
Bedwyr
I know a little bit. Microsoft mucked around with the assignments on XB1 wireless and now the triggers are set to a different axis than the split axis the 360 had. This causes all kinds of merry hell on many applications. I'm not really knowledgeable about Xinput, but I think if a program explicitly supports it, then then the system should be fine. DirectX or some other implementation that used to work fine for 360 no longer works here. Jason can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's my impression. Your problem sounds remarkably like that behavior when it affects the Kodi media system where the runaway trigger input cycles through the menu uncontrollably. I believe the Kodi 17.0 alpha has implemented a more robust controller support that includes XB1 wireless, but is still not mature. As for BB, I don't know. I'm surprised that the same thing is happening here as I thought Jason had implemented Xinput.
Ricky
I have windows 10 and XB1 wireless. Strange it doesn't happen to me on BB, only on Kodi it scrolls really fast.
Hunter25
What driver are you using?
Hunter25
Never mind, I finally found out what the problem was. It's my actual controller. I had no Idea the original xobx one controller had a fault with drifting, turns out it's a big thing. I have a new xbox one controller now which works great. Hope this helps others who had a similar problem like mine!
