Performance bug with playlists?

Playlists are absolutely amazing; they straight up have holy grail level functionality. There seems to be just one drawback: performance appears to tank when they're sorted differently (i.e. One playlist has games sorted by title and another by release date).

It's worth noting that I requested that feature a little while back so I want to thank you for implementing it in the first place.

To give a little more detail, the problem comes from switching from playlist to playlist while they're sorted with a different parameter. It doesn't seem to be impacted by the number of games in each list or the method by which they're populated (automatically or manual). So far, the only thing I've thought to try is to increase the RAM cache to the maximum but that yielded no luck.

I'm not sure if this is something that can be fixed via a configuration or if it's something that needs to be addressed dev-side. Please let me know if this is something that's already been discussed (I gave a cursory search across this forum and didn't see anything). Any guidance on this would be appreciated.

Edit: Since I'm asking about a performance issue, I suppose I should throw down some specs

i7-4790 @ 3.60ghz

32gb ram

GTX970

Western Digital 2tb HDD (where launchbox is stored)

Windows 10
