ivanjrx
Hello Folks, I'm new here I'm trying to understand to either a) How to search for the videos of the game automatically as when it searches for pictures, metadata... or b) How to Add a script to point at the game and video (Tell me the location where this is being saved so I can perhaps think of a batch or powershell or a tool to recreate it) Quote Quote NameofgameAB == > nameofgameAB.mp4 As opposed me pointing a every single game to its video... or are you guys doing it in another manner? PS. I'm a premium user so all my options are unlocked Thanks in advance Edited June 21, 2017 by ivanjrx
ivanjrx
So I just found out that name of videos are created in a xml file at this location below, as well as the backups xml for the particular plattforms \LaunchBox\Data\Platforms\Sega Genesis.xml and this s the structure...I'd wonder if SCUM.. has to see creating it? , Anyways is there anyway creating them easily ? and if so, will be enough to just copy paste it? <Game> <ApplicationPath>..\ROMS\SEGA\NameofgameAB.SMD</ApplicationPath> <CommandLine /> <Completed>false</Completed> <ConfigurationCommandLine /> <ConfigurationPath /> <DateAdded>2017-06-20T01:28:26.1678458-05:00</DateAdded> <DateModified>2017-06-20T23:26:53.3109504-05:00</DateModified> <Developer /> <DosBoxConfigurationPath /> <Emulator>6bac7c6e-0ead-4704-bbcf-2816db329a54</Emulator> <Favorite>false</Favorite> <ID>XXXXX....49b6</ID> <LastPlayedDate>2017-06-20T23:27:04.2956499-05:00</LastPlayedDate> <ManualPath /> <MusicPath /> <Notes /> <Platform>Sega Genesis</Platform> <Publisher /> <Rating /> <RootFolder /> <ScummVMAspectCorrection>false</ScummVMAspectCorrection> <ScummVMFullscreen>false</ScummVMFullscreen> <ScummVMGameDataFolderPath /> <ScummVMGameType /> <SortTitle /> <Source /> <StarRating>0</StarRating> <Status>Imported ROM</Status> <WikipediaURL /> <Title>Altered Beast</Title> <UseDosBox>false</UseDosBox> <UseScummVM>false</UseScummVM> <Version /> <Series /> <PlayMode /> <Region /> <PlayCount>8</PlayCount> <Portable>false</Portable> <VideoPath>..\ROMS\SEGA\Videos\NameofgameAB.flv</VideoPath> <Hide>false</Hide> <Broken>false</Broken> <Genre /> </Game> Edited June 21, 2017 by ivanjrx

SentaiBrad
Sorry for the late response: Video only plays in LaunchBox with LaunchBox Premium. EmuMovies video also only downloads with EM Premium as well for your EM account. If you have the video, you can insert it manually and bypass EmuMovies, but with their Premium tied in with ours, it downloads through the Import Wizard or Metadata and Media downloader after the fact automatically. Video is stored in \..\LaunchBox\Video\<Platform Name>\. In that folder, for which ever platform you've chosen, video is used just like any other media. As long as the name matched the rom file name or the name of the game inside of LaunchBox, it will automatically attach it's self.
